Lu Wanwan was slumped over the sofa, apparently frustrated from the wait. Hearing the door, she didn’t stand up but looked towards him listlessly, muttering, “Gu Annan, is your assistant ssing with ?”
His features illuminated by the light, his face appeared more chiseled, and his dark, inky eyes looked deeply over at her.
She rubbed her face and stood up, “Never mind, let’s eat.”
Gu Annan knew that this idiot hadn’t eaten yet.
He walked swiftly from the doorway and the next mont stretched out his arms to pull her in front of him.
One hand cradled the back of her head while the other hugged her waist as he kissed her, quickly prying open her lips…

The arm around her waist gave a light pat, and she heard his rich, low voice, “Ti to eat.”
Her face grew warm from the straightforward response, and without turning back, she headed to the kitchen, “Just a mont, it’ll be ready soon.”
He took off his coat, casually tossed it onto the sofa armrest, and moved towards the kitchen as well.
Leaning against the dining table with his tall fra, he watched Lu Wanwan bring the steak to the table, along with the other dishes that were ready.
“Wanwan,” his gaze focused on the woman who had carefully prepared these, his lips curved into a faint smile, “Is there sothing you want to ask ?”
