She strolled around the comrcial district for a while, and as she reached the curb, a black sports car sped up and ca to a smooth stop beside her.
Turning her head, she saw Gu Annan sitting in the driver’s seat, not wearing his usual suit and leather shoes but now clad in a set of deep gray casual wear.

Lu Wanwan opened the car door and sat down, pointing at the store where she had just made her purchase, “Yes, bought it from there.”
He looked in the direction she pointed, spotting a boutique with a unique style.
“Trying to save money for ?”

She often visited with Xu Yuan in the past; this boutique was sowhat famous locally as an independent brand. It didn’t look very impressive, and while the prices couldn’t compare to top-tier brands, they were not exactly cheap either compared to average brands.
Back then, all she could do was look, as she couldn’t afford to buy anything.
Earlier, when she asked Bai Lingyun to stop nearby, she didn’t think too much about it – she was in a rush to change clothes and happened upon this store, so she walked in without hesitation.
Now that she was Mrs. Gu, she of course knew she should buy more expensive and upscale items, like those he had prepared at ho.

“What does ‘hmm’ an? If it looks good, say it looks good, if it doesn’t, say it doesn’t.”
“Why are you so noisy,” Gu Annan murmured, “one complint and you’re over the moon.”
“So, are you saying the clothes look good, or that I look good in them?” Lu Wanwan shalessly pressed on, leaning on the seat and facing him with the question.
At her question, the corner of his mouth curled slightly, and coincidentally the light turned red, so he stopped the car.
That hint of a smile accelerated Lu Wanwan’s heartbeat.
Then she saw him slowly turn his face towards her, looking at her with a teasing smile, and he said softly, “It would look even better with nothing on.”
