By inertia, Sophia Hamilton’s body lurched forward before leaning back in the seat again. With a baby in her belly, she dared not make any rash moves and hurriedly grabbed onto the handle above the car door.
In the driver’s seat, Evander Lancaster said nothing more, but the bite marks on both sides of his handso face said it all. His phoenix eyes stared straight ahead, and his jaw was tense.
The atmosphere suddenly beca tense. The two people in the car faced forward, their expressions cold and unyielding.
The Audi stopped under Evander Lancaster’s apartnt building. After getting out, Evander slamd the car door and walked to the passenger side, picking up the still sluggishly exiting Sophia Hamilton, and walked toward the apartnt door with an impassive face.
"Enter the code!" Stopping in front of the door, Evander commanded coldly, his handso face a shade of iron blue.
Sophia knew her behavior just now was a bit overboard, but why does he get to treat her like this!
The rebellious demon inside her jumped out automatically, impatiently nudging Evander, and said petulantly, "Put down! I want to go ho!"
"Go ho?" Evander sneered and then said viciously, "In your dreams!"
After saying that, he propped Sophia’s body against the door with his long leg, freeing a hand to enter the code, carrying her into the apartnt, while Sophia stopped struggling, wrapping her arms around his neck and turning her angry face to the side.
If there wasn’t a cara in the elevator, Evander would want to kill Sophia right there. How dare she ss with his unborn child, she really needed a lesson!
Forcing himself to control the impulse inside, as soon as they entered his apartnt, Evander didn’t bother changing into slippers and directly stepped out of his shoes, carrying Sophia with wide strides into the bedroom.
Although he was on the verge of exploding, his actions were still gentle when placing Sophia on the bed. Without giving her ti to react, Evander pressed down on her.
"You stubborn woman! Itching for a beating, huh?" His slender fingers pinched Sophia’s jaw as Evander asked through gritted teeth.
Sophia wasn’t to be outdone; she slapped Evander’s hand away and glared at him, shouting loudly, "If you’ve got the guts, hit ! Co on, hit here!"
Sophia grabbed Evander’s hand and placed it over her abdon. A pregnant woman is naturally more irritable, especially now that she knows they have no way to officially be together.
With both reasons combined, Sophia’s temper flared for seemingly no reason.
"Hit you?" Evander’s lip curled into a faint smile as he withdrew his hand, matching Sophia’s furious gaze with a cold laugh, "I’m worried about hurting my son!"
"Evander Lancaster, you bastard, if there was no baby would you hit ..." Sophia accused while constantly hitting him, a pregnant woman’s emotional outburst needs no reason.
The baby is less than six weeks old and still in a dangerous phase. Evander was clearly furious, yet he couldn’t do anything to her.
Seeing the woman crying and making a fuss without end, he simply lowered his head to seal her lips.
"Mm mm... bastard... let go..." Sophia mumbled through the kiss. Evander grabbed her hands, threading his fingers through hers, pinning her to the bed, preventing further struggle.
When kissing Sophia’s pink lips, he opened his mouth to bite, not very hard but not gentle either, offering a similarly muffled threat, "You stubborn woman, if you dare mistreat my son again, see if I don’t bite you to death!"
"Ah..." Sophia gasped in surprise, turning her head from side to side, yet their lips were like magnets drawn together and couldn’t be separated. Having tried a few tis but failing to evade, Sophia stopped trying to escape, instead opening her mouth to bite Evander’s lips in return.
