"Logan, don’t be mad, don’t be mad at Ava. Ava knows she was wrong. Ava is calling Sister Titus. She seems to have been drinking. You should go check on her, hurry!" Ava Charles got up from the sofa, and although her movents were clumsy, she still hurriedly shuffle-walked towards Logan Ray.
A tear-stained little face, pouting yet trying hard to lift the corners of her lips.
Logan sighed and placed his slender hand on Ava’s hair, "Silly girl, I’m not mad."
"But Sister Titus has been drinking, it’s so noisy on the phone, it seems like there are a lot of n..." A kind-hearted woman, still worried about Titus at this ti.
Logan’s expression changed suddenly, and he took the cell phone Ava handed over to him, pressed it against his ear, listened carefully, and tentatively spoke.
"Titus?"
"Is she needed for sothing?" From the receiver, a man’s voice, slightly sinister, carried an icy distance, Logan furrowed his brows, asking alertly, "Who are you?"
The man on the other end didn’t answer again; from the receiver, the man’s voice was tender and doting.
"Sweetheart, stop drinking, shall we go ho?"
"Mmm..."
A murmur-like voice followed by a busy signal from the receiver.
"Titus, where are you!"
Logan was still shouting into the phone, but the busy signal continued to reply.
He hung up, redialed, and after a brief mont, it returned to a busy signal.
"Logan, what’s wrong with Sister Titus? Is she in danger? You need to go check on her quickly!" Ava frantically pushed Logan towards the door; Logan put away his phone with a self-mocking smile on his lips.
"No need, she won’t be in danger."
The voice of Nathan Moore, he would rember it even after ten or twenty years!
Deliberately letting himself hear the conversation, how could there be danger with soone purposely staying by Titus’s side at this ti.
The self-mocking on his lips intensified, Ava looked up at him with a puzzled face and asked, "How do you know?"
"Never mind her, it’s late, baby needs to rest." Logan’s large hand rested on Ava’s back, guiding her toward the bedroom.
"Aren’t you mad anymore?" Ava asked cautiously.
"Silly girl, how could I bear to be?" Logan softened his voice, the corners of his lips slightly raised, a fleeting shadow quickly crossed the depths of his eyes.

"Is this amusing?" Titus took back her phone and put it in her bag, her expression seemingly amused but not quite angry; yet imperceptibly, it carried a hint of arrogance.
Nathan Moore picked up a glass of wine, took a light sip with his head down and lips slightly curved, "It’s interesting." Thinking about that pathetic man, watching him full of hatred, yet that helpless deanor, he felt he didn’t deserve Titus.
Really.
Titus used to have an ethereal quality like a celestial not feeding on mundane smokes—she should find a man who adores her, pampers her, loves her, and has the strength to keep her like a golden bird at ho, away from the sinister human hearts.
Titus scoffed coldly, "Childish."
Nathan drank another sip of red wine, lifting his eyes toward a spot inside the bar, "Every man has a childish side."
Like Felix Shaw, who previously ignored Mia Foster’s overt advances, yet a few days ago, ended up forcibly taking his wife and even whisked her back to the country; now the international branch office has turned into a complete ss, causing his father-in-law to erupt in fury, supporting his daughter and him to divorce!
