Elizabeth White raised an eyebrow smugly and placed a piece of sea cucumber in Sister Lisa’s bowl. "It seems even fate is helping ; when I fell down the stairs, I got so scared that my period started!"
"What did you say? It wasn’t a miscarriage? It was your period!"
"Shh! Keep your voice down." Sister Lisa’s voice got a bit loud out of excitent, and Elizabeth quickly gestured with her fingers and looked around. Seeing no one was paying attention to their conversation, she continued, "That’s why I say fate is helping ."

Mia Foster also put down her knife and fork, picked up her wine glass, and gently swirled it, looking at Felix Shaw with a smile. "What illness, that he got discharged so quickly."
Felix Shaw touched his nose and lowered his eyes, letting out a heavy sigh. "I’m not quite sure either,"
Mia Foster smiled, "How can you be so careless, visiting a sick person and not even asking what illness they had?"
"We’re not that close, it’s more of a formality." Felix Shaw continued to scratch his nose, noticing his little actions. Through their ti together, Mia Foster discovered that whenever he lies, he either touches or scratches his nose to mask his guilty conscience.
"Is that so?" Mia Foster smiled sarcastically, wondering how he could leave her alone at such an important mont if they weren’t close.
Seeing Felix Shaw looking down and swirling his wine, Mia Foster put away her smile and spoke seriously, "Felix, if I’m not mistaken, it wasn’t your friend who was sick."
"How do you know?" Felix Shaw’s expression visibly changed, and if she wasn’t mistaken, there was a flash of sharpness passing through his eyes.
Mia Foster chuckled lightly, her gaze resting on the gently swirling red liquid in her hand. "After you left, I called Titus Zane. If it was your friend, Nathan Moore would have gone with you, not just you alone."
As Mia Foster finished speaking, the peach blossom eyes of Felix Shaw clearly turned cold.
