"You’re just making excuses for yourself!" lody Zachary chided disapprovingly, and then earnestly said, "Felix, won are ant to be cherished, you can’t let Mia Foster feel wronged."
Mia Foster buried her head in her rice, not wanting to join the conversation between mother and son. But suddenly she felt a tug on her shoulder as Felix Shaw pulled her closer. "Mom, can’t you see how much I cherish Mia? Look at her, she’s gained so weight these days staying at ho without having to work."

If they weren’t in front of elders, she would definitely have flipped out. This man, brazenly spouting nonsense.
lody Zachary shook her head helplessly, then picked so food for Mia Foster. "Alright, let’s not talk about it anymore, let’s eat before the food gets cold."
After they finished eating, lody Zachary wanted to clean up the kitchen, but Felix Shaw pulled her back to the living room. "Mom, you just got back, relax and sit down. Mia and I will handle the cleanup."
After settling his mother on the sofa, Felix Shaw, for once, headed into the kitchen. He took the gloves from Mia Foster, put them on, and started washing the dishes at the sink.
The sunset’s glow stread through the window, casting its light on Felix Shaw. With the golden light, Felix’s silhouette gave off the illusion of a wholeso family man.
Standing behind Felix, Mia Foster unconsciously paused her wiping of the countertop.

Out of instinct, she glanced towards the living room. lody Zachary was watching them with a smile, causing Mia’s face to feel a bit hot with embarrassnt. Annoyed, she said, "Stop being so conceited!"
Felix Shaw didn’t say anything, but the corners of his lips were raised high in a smile.
The next morning, lody Zachary left, picked up by Oliver Shaw. Mia Foster thought the Shaw n were all alike: flirtatious but unwilling to let go of their wives. Such selfish and self-centered n weren’t worth forgiving at all!
Before Felix Shaw left for work, Mia Foster asked again about her docunts, but received the sa reply: they were locked in his office drawer. While changing his shoes, Felix jovially asked, "How about this? Co work at the company with , and you can take the opportunity to steal your docunts back..."
