Ethan Grant continued with this display of affection.
He bent down, leaned close to Serena’s ear, and said gently, "Darling."
He didn’t lower his voice; everyone around could hear it.

Hearing the word "darling," Serena felt a pang of pain in her heart. She turned her head to look at Ethan Grant, whose eyes were filled with a smiling expression, and she really wanted to slap him.
Darling! Who the hell is his darling!
But with so many people present, including Claire Sullivan and Zoe Quinn watching, Serena said nothing and let Ethan push her inside.
Zoe Quinn, who was helping Ruth Hale up, saw Ethan Grant and Serena Sullivan going in "lovingly," and she nearly broke her own nails out of frustration.

When she cried on Claire Sullivan’s shoulder, her tear-filled eyes glanced at Ruth Hale nearby. Their gazes t, and a trace of scornful amusent flickered in both sets of eyes.
No one expected that before the competition, Claire Sullivan would sever ties with Serena just to put Zoe at ease.
When Joel Quinn arrives, he’ll definitely be delighted.
Today is the final round of The Brilliance Competition, and Anna Morgan arrived here directly with Finn Chandler.
Just as they parked the car, they heard Claire Sullivan announcing in front of so many reporters that she was severing ties with Serena Sullivan.

Anna Morgan was angry just thinking about it, and she got out of the car ready to confront Claire Sullivan, but the calm Finn Chandler held her back.
