"Finn, what the hell?"
Anna Morgan asked in dissatisfaction, ready to go fight soone.
"Let’s wait and see," Finn Chandler said calmly, wanting to observe Ethan Grant’s attitude.
Although Anna was unhappy about Finn not going to protect Serena Sullivan, she obediently complied.
When she saw Ethan kick Ruth Hale to the ground, Anna shook her head with a "tsk tsk," remarking, "Hitting a woman!"
It’s not quite right for a man to hit a woman.
But...
"He did well!"
Anna was thoroughly entertained by the drama unfolding, and when she heard Ethan call Serena "wifey," goosebumps covered her arm.
"Do you think Ethan Grant is sick or sothing?"
Anna asked Finn, "Four years ago, he was the one who didn’t want Serena first."
"Now, he shalessly treats Serena well, but then, he won’t even sleep with her!"
"Who knows!"
Finn said coldly, already expecting Ethan’s reaction.
"Lil Finn, do you think there’s still a chance for the two of them?"
Anna was torn, "I hope Ethan could take care of Serena properly, but I also want to take Serena away."
Neither of them could forget how pitiful and desperate Serena was four years ago, nor how she coped in the years since!
"Serena can’t spend her whole life alone."
"Of course, I’ll take good care of Serena."
Anna said, knowing that her or Finn taking care of Serena wasn’t quite the sa as Ethan doing so.
"So, I’m really conflicted."
This issue had been on Anna’s mind since Serena returned.
"Finn."
Seeing Finn not responding to her, Anna got anxious, grabbing her arm and saying, "Lil Finn, say sothing to !"
It wasn’t that Finn was ignoring Anna, she had just seen a man stepping out from the car in front of them.
The man’s face was so striking, among the crowd, Finn noticed him instantly.
"Hmm."
Finn ca back to her senses, "You’re quite perceptive!"
"So, what do you think? Is it good or bad for Serena to be with Ethan Grant?"
"And also, why doesn’t Ethan Grant sleep with Serena?"
These questions had troubled Anna for too long, and with Finn back, she quickly asked, hoping smart, rational Finn would provide answers.
Hmm!
Finn smiled, giving her an answer, "I don’t know."
Seeing Anna’s face fall, she pinched Anna’s cheek.
Their intimate interaction looked like playful banter between a couple to bystanders.
Julian Ford observed and didn’t think they matched well.
"Young Master Chambers."
He greeted them with a smile.
Anna, a bit of a fangirl, grew excited upon seeing Julian Ford, squeezing Finn’s arm tighter, "Lil Finn, it’s Julian Ford, Julian Ford!"
Julian was also her big boss.
With his looks and physique, he’d definitely be a hit in the entertainnt industry.
Finn wasn’t as excited as Anna; she didn’t have much fondness for this man.
"Got ti?"
Julian asked gently.
"No!" She wouldn’t waste ti on useless people.
"Let’s find a place to..."
Before he could finish the sentence, Anna was curious why Julian wanted to invite Finn for a al, and upon hearing the next three words, she thought she must’ve misheard.
"Have a fight!"
