He also saw the eagerness in Serena’s eyes to leave the hospital.
After they were discharged, Anna Morgan pushed Serena to the mall for a shopping spree, with Ethan Grant following behind, swiping his card to pay.
He was more than happy to spend money on Serena. When Serena went into a n’s wear store, picking suit after brightly colored suit, he stepped up and said he still preferred black.

Ethan Grant also wanted to ntion that the clothes Serena had bought last ti were a bit too small and should be two sizes larger.
Before he could speak, he saw Serena toss the chosen clothes to Finn Chandler, telling him to try them on. Ethan’s face imdiately turned ugly, and when Finn stepped out of the fitting room in well-fitting clothes, Ethan’s face turned even darker.
The suit didn’t fit because Serena had bought it wrong; it simply wasn’t for him.
Ethan was utterly frustrated and angry, sending several knife emojis in the group chat.
He wanted to chop Finn Chandler to pieces!
Of course, he had to find Julian Ford to do that.
He wouldn’t bully Serena’s friends!
Julian Ford, who couldn’t find the woman he slept with, was in a bad mood. His refined exterior hiding nowhere for his anger to go, when he saw Ethan Grant @ him, he rembered being thrown over the shoulder by Finn Chandler in Serena’s hospital room that day and thought it fitting to find Finn for a fight.
Standing in the mirror examining himself, Finn received a text ssage, and his expression shifted.
Next to him, Anna Morgan, happily selecting other clothes for Finn, noticed it keenly.
"What’s wrong?"
Serena asked Finn softly.
"He challenged to a fight."
Finn curled his lips and sent a ssage back.
This "he" wasn’t explicitly stated, but Serena guessed it must be Julian Ford, likely prompted by Ethan Grant ssaging Julian.
If it were before, Serena wouldn’t have thought much if Julian and Finn had a fight.
Finn knew what he was doing and might not even lose to Julian Ford.
But...
Between them there had been intimacy, which for a woman might an he left a mark on her heart, especially since it was Finn’s first ti, and perhaps Julian might be her only man.
With such a relationship, seeing Julian might not be easy for Finn.
Serena was about to advise Finn to ignore it, but Finn’s eyes went cold as he harshly said, "Don’t worry, I’ll beat him to a pulp!"
It rained continuously for several days, and having nowhere to go, Serena was about to grow moldy staying at Willow Yarrow’s.
When she saw the rain stop, she asked Sister Ann to prepare offerings to visit her grandfather’s grave.
On the way, Ethan Grant called, but Serena hung up.
Taking advantage that Ethan wasn’t around, she headed directly to the cetery, not wanting to be followed around all day by a tagalong.
This man had been treating going to The Grant Corporation like a joke, going when he wanted and skipping when he didn’t.
When he called again, it was to Sister Ann.
Serena rubbed her aching temples; if she didn’t speak to Ethan, after he finished with Sister Ann, he would undoubtedly call Ya-Ya, leaving her no choice but to agree to let Ethan co pick her up.
