There, after getting Serena Sullivan’s permission to proceed, the call was swiftly hung up.

Due to the rain, the road leading to the cetery was under construction, so there was a stretch of muddy path that was difficult to navigate.

The wet and muddy path made it hard for the wheelchair to move. After getting out of the car, Serena discovered that the wheelchair’s forward button was malfunctioning and couldn’t be pressed.

With Annie pushing, the wheelchair wheels were obstructed and not easy to maneuver.

The three of them walked slowly, as rain began to fall from the sky again, prompting Annie to open her umbrella.

Serena looked up and saw the rain wasn’t heavy, so she told Yaya to shield Annie and not to worry about her.

Annie, who had been taking care of Serena for so ti, truly cared about her. Though the rain was light, Serena’s health was different from theirs, yet she was adamant about not letting Yaya hold the umbrella for herself.

She only allowed Yaya to take care of Serena.

The wheels sunk again into a muddy hole, and Yaya took over pushing her.

The young girl was strong, but even she struggled to push against the mud.

"Let help you!"

A gentle voice ca from a man, and Annie and Yaya warily looked at the young man who approached them from behind.

The man appeared to be around the sa age as Serena, with remarkably clear eyes and outstanding features.

Serena turned around and t the eyes of the stranger, who smiled at her. Serena nodded, "Thank you!"

With such beautiful eyes, Serena didn’t believe he was a bad person, and with Yaya around, there was nothing to worry about.

The rain drenched the three of them; there was no room for politeness at this point.

"Who did you co to visit?"

The man initiated a conversation and asked Serena.

"My grandfather."

Since he asked her, Serena inquired in return, "How about you?"

"I ca with my dad to visit an elder of his."

He smiled, and Serena sensed that this man must co from a good family. His voice was gentle, and he spoke at a moderate pace with good manners, which made Serena like him a bit more.

They chatted casually back and forth.

The man pushed Serena past the muddy area and onto the smooth cent pathway, and Serena said,

"My grandfather’s tombstone is just up ahead. Thank you."

Following the direction Serena indicated, he hesitated for a mont, "You’re welco, I’ll be leaving now."

He replied politely and then walked away.

Serena turned her head and saw that the man’s shoes and trouser legs were covered in mud.

She thought about how his clothes were custom-made and expensive, and pressed very neatly. He usually must care a lot about his appearance; clearly, he was a kind person.

Serena then went to find her grandfather’s grave, which had fresh flowers in front of the tombstone, but she didn’t pay much attention.

Her grandfather had many disciples who might have co to see him, or it could have been Claire Sullivan.

When the man descended the hill, he noticed that his trouser legs and shoes were all dirty, and he frowned, not too pleased.

He approached a car by the roadside, and as the window rolled down, a face similar to his appeared.

"Dad, I delivered her."

He then asked, "Do you know her?"

When his father had asked him to get out of the car to push the wheelchair, he found it quite strange.

"Such a beautiful look, unfortunately a cripple."

He remarked, and Mr. Sterling in the car gave his son a cold glance and said in a quiet voice, "She is Serena Sullivan!"

"Serena Sullivan!"

The man recalled who she was, "It’s her!"

"The one for whom Ethan Grant pretty much shattered The Grant Family."

He wasn’t very familiar with the affairs in Solaria and had co along with his family for a visit. On the night of Mr. Grant’s birthday banquet, he and his sister had other matters to attend to and only arrived in Solaria the next day.

Upon arrival, they were shocked by the news buzzing online.
