Claire Sullivan stepped out of the car, and as soon as she entered The Sullivan Residence, she heard an angry voice from inside.
"You still have the face to co back!"
With a "slap" sound, the crisp sound of a slap made Claire Sullivan pause for a mont. Then ca the sound of crying in extre grievance. Claire’s expression turned cold as she walked inside.
"Dad, I was wrong."
"It was my conscience being eaten by dogs, saying those things about my sister in front of the reporters, it’s all my fault."
Zoe Quinn, who had been slapped and thrown to the ground, got up and knelt in front of Joel Quinn with tears all over her face.
Zoe Quinn had barely rested after returning from the hospital when Joel Quinn slapped her.
She heard footsteps from outside the door and imdiately raised her hand to slap her own cheek.
"I deserve to die!"
"I shouldn’t have spoken about my sister like that."
"I shouldn’t have tried to sow discord between you and mom."
Zoe Quinn slapped herself hard, one after another. Compared to wrist-cutting or swallowing sleeping pills, slapping was much better because she could control the strength.
"Your mom treats you so well, yet you said those things!"
Joel Quinn noticed Claire Sullivan at the doorway and angrily cursed, lifting his foot and kicking Zoe Quinn again.
With this kick, Joel Quinn really used all his strength.
The Sullivan Corporation’s shareholders eting was about to reconvene, and lately, he had been busy socializing, dining with other shareholders, and he hadn’t even gone to see Zoe Quinn, who had attempted suicide at the hospital.
At this critical mont, Zoe Quinn dared to offend Claire Sullivan.
She’s going to get him killed!
If Serena Sullivan actually took control of The Sullivan Corporation, his days in it would be hard to survive. All these years of enduring humiliation and hardship would be wasted.
"Dad!"
Zoe Quinn, kicked to the ground, groaned, feeling like all her internal organs were shattered. Fear imdiately crept into her heart, recalling that dark past. Her body trembled and she cried out, "I was wrong, really wrong."
"You deserve to die!"
Joel Quinn thought about how, because of Zoe’s words, Claire Sullivan still hadn’t transferred her shares to him, and he stepped forward to kick her again. Claire Sullivan, who had co in, stopped him, "Do you want to beat her to death?"
Zoe Quinn, lying on the ground enduring the pain, softly called out, "Mom!"
Claire Sullivan was truly detestable. Even after hearing her call, she deliberately waited until Joel Quinn almost kicked her to death before coming in.
Indeed, so hypocritical and disgusting!
"Mom, Zoe was wrong."
Thinking like this, Zoe Quinn knelt on the ground and tried to grab Claire Sullivan.
Claire Sullivan dodged, not letting her touch her.
So things had turned into thorns; just thinking about the places they’d pierced hurt.
"Claire, you’re back." Joel Quinn changed his expression to a smile, wanting to go over and hold Claire Sullivan’s hand, but she didn’t allow it.
"Such an ill-mannered daughter deserves to be kicked to death."
Saying this, Joel Quinn kicked Zoe again.
"Suit yourself," Claire Sullivan said, walking straight upstairs.
Seeing her leave this remark and head upstairs, both Joel Quinn and Zoe Quinn were alard. They couldn’t figure out Claire Sullivan’s thoughts at that mont.
"Dad!"
With a pale face from the kicking, Zoe Quinn called out. Before she could speak further, Joel Quinn glared at her, "Get out of here!"
His murderous look stopped Zoe Quinn from crying out, and she got up from the ground, suppressing the pain.
After she walked out the main door, she turned back and looked coldly at The Sullivan Residence.
Since Claire Sullivan was so heartless to her, she would no longer rember any kindness from The Sullivan Family!
Clenching her fist tightly with fury, she pulled out her phone from her bag and dialed Sean Lockwood’s number, then cried out.
"Sean, it hurts so much!"
