"What do I want to do! Can’t you see!" Joel Quinn replied with a cold sneer, "I want your daughter to pay your debt!"
"You dare!"
Claire Sullivan shouted angrily, her eyes red.
She knew Joel Quinn dared!
He dared to do such a thing to Serena four years ago, and now with a knife in his hand, at the end of his rope, he dared even more!
"Joel Quinn!" Serena Sullivan spoke calmly, moving forward, actually leaning toward the knife Joel Quinn placed at her neck.
This action made Joel Quinn panic.
Serena, does she have no fear of death?
"Move again and I’ll kill you!"
"Then go ahead and kill ." Serena smiled; either way, she was going to die. Dragging Joel Quinn, this scum, to hell before her death wasn’t a bad idea!
Joel Quinn was stunned, not knowing what Serena was planning!
He tightened his grip on the knife in his hand, "Don’t think I won’t dare."
"Joel Quinn!" Claire Sullivan, seeing Joel Quinn truly intending to harm Serena, spoke with a voice full of sarcasm, "You’re right, I’ve been with many n!"
"I’ve been unclear with Felix Lockwood too!"
Claire Sullivan’s voice softened, her smile growing more mocking, "And do you know!"
"Haha!"
She laughed exaggeratedly, "Because, ah."
"In my eyes, you’re just a dog!"
"When I tell you to crawl, you crawl; when I tell you to bark, you bark. What qualifications does an animal have!"
Claire Sullivan’s words successfully provoked Joel Quinn’s anger; he cursed "bitch" and walked toward Claire Sullivan with the knife in hand.
Claire Sullivan did not retreat; instead, she walked forward, offering herself up.
Her intentions were clear to Serena. When Joel Quinn walked over, she should have stopped him, but her mind was foggy, her hands lost strength, and she watched as Joel Quinn raised his hand to slap Claire Sullivan’s face.
Joel Quinn had a tendency for violence, and one slap wasn’t enough to satisfy him.
Moreover, he felt he had been treated like a dog in front of Claire Sullivan for years, so after one slap, he imdiately raised his hand to slap again.
Slapped, Claire Sullivan didn’t care about Joel Quinn’s next slap; she raised her hand to grab the hand holding the knife, "Soone, co quickly!"
Hand raised high, Joel Quinn heard Claire Sullivan shouting loudly and realized she was deliberately provoking him.
"Shut up!"
Joel Quinn shouted in panic, landing a heavier slap that sent Claire Sullivan directly to the ground.
"Co quickly!"
Claire Sullivan continued to shout; she couldn’t let Joel Quinn harm her daughter again, crawling over recklessly to hug one of Joel Quinn’s legs.
As long as she held him back, kept him from touching Serena, it would be enough.

"Claire Sullivan, let go of ."
Hearing the commotion outside, Joel Quinn realized that, given his intrusion into The Sullivan Residence and his condition of injuring Serena, there was no way he could escape unhard, especially if Ethan Grant might decide in anger to kill him.
He had to take a hostage, and Serena, unable to move, was the most convenient choice. But Claire Sullivan held onto his leg tightly; he bent down, ruthlessly slapping the woman several tis. Instead of letting go, Claire Sullivan clung even tighter.
