Joan Sinclair’s worrying heart for her granddaughter finally relaxed slightly.

Adrian Law smiled and reached for Cecilia’s hand across the table.
"I assure you, I will never break my promise in this life... Grandma, you and my grandmother both prefer sweet dishes. Tomorrow, how about I cook for you?"
"Let you have a taste of my cooking skills?"
Joan Sinclair skeptically glanced at Adrian Law, instinctively feeling that a young master like him, living in luxury, couldn’t possibly know how to cook.
"Do you really know how to cook? Won’t you blow up the kitchen...?"
Cecilia blushed furiously, knowing her grandmother was questioning Adrian Law.

The next morning, Adrian Law and Cecilia Vaughn went shopping for ingredients early.

Thinking of her grandfather, who was not even involved but sohow implicated, Cecilia felt slightly embarrassed, but she noticed her grandmother seed more favorable to Adrian now.
Separated by a glass door, the girl could see the busy and handso figure in the kitchen, finding, for a mont, a sense of serene contentnt.

After more than an hour, Adrian finally finished his tasks.
To win Grandma’s approval for his and Cecilia’s marriage, he crafted dishes that leaned towards mild and sweet, focusing on everyday dishes from Suzhou and Hangzhou.
The man quickly presented the prepared als.
There was boiled shrimp, sweet and sour pork with pineapple, sweet and sour ribs, a trio of earthy vegetables, plus a fresh scallop and tofu soup.
Joan Sinclair looked at Adrian Law’s creations in surprise. She had thought he might carelessly prepare sothing, never expecting these dishes to look so authentic!
Especially the soup, the sweet aroma wafting through the air, whetting the appetite.
If she hadn’t witnessed Adrian busy in the kitchen the whole ti, Joan might have suspected he switched them with sothing pre-bought!
