Flora not only bought sunflower seeds, but also a big bag of snacks. Lately, Audrey Sutton is only interested in sour plums, and she hasn’t touched the chips in the snack bag, only opening a bag of plums.
Barry Barrett: "Called us back in such a hurry, where’s Brother Seraphina?"
Audrey Sutton pointed with her chin toward the bathroom and replied, "She went to take a shower, should be out soon."

Barry Barrett joked, "What’s there for her to do at the company? Just munch on sunflower seeds and watch movies. If I were her cousin, I’d be glad she didn’t go to work, saving the company from a bad example."
Just as Barry finished speaking, Seraphina Vaughn pushed the bathroom door open and ca out: "Bear, I don’t like what I’m hearing. Munching sunflower seeds is tiring, alright? My mouth is full of blisters."
Flora: "And yet you still asked to buy sunflower seeds."
Seraphina Vaughn: "How can we gossip without sunflower seeds? Audrey, could you pass the hairdryer?"
As Audrey was about to get up, Barry quickly stepped in: "I’ll do it, I’ll do it. Can you just order Audrey around like this now?"
Seraphina Vaughn smiled knowingly: "I forgot, I forgot, my godson is still in her belly!"
Flora: "We haven’t even found a partner yet, and Audrey’s about to be a mom."
Audrey Sutton laughed and said, "President Quinn sends you flowers every day, and you say you don’t have any prospects?"
Flora rolled her eyes at Audrey Sutton: "You just had to bring that up. I’m so annoyed by him I don’t even dare to go to work. If it weren’t for needing money, I’d switch jobs."
Barry Barrett: "Flora, why are you getting more timid in relationships? You used to never refuse anyone, and now you’re avoiding soone who’s offering himself up on a silver platter?"
Flora: "Do you think I’m that kind of person?"
The other three in unison: "Yes."
Flora muttered: "What kind of lousy friends have I made!"
Barry Barrett: "You’re living in bliss and don’t even realize it. If a man sent flowers every day like that, I’d have married him already!"
Flora lied about being sick to take a day off, just to get so peace. She didn’t expect to be bombarded with their questions when she returned to the dorm, so she changed the topic: "Didn’t Seraphina say there’s so top secret news? We’re all ears and have our sunflower seeds ready, where’s the gossip?"
Seraphina Vaughn put away the hairdryer, twisted its cord, and walked over to Audrey Sutton’s bed, saying, "Do you rember what happened with Nolan Hawke?"
Flora and Audrey glanced at Barry, who frowned in confusion and said, "Why are you looking at ? I have nothing to do with him anymore, and guys like him deserve bad endings!"
Hearing Barry say this, Seraphina Vaughn continued: "We heard he died, but not how he died. This morning at the office, I heard so buzz that Nolan Hawke was hit by a car."
Audrey Sutton: "So it really was an accident?"
Barry Barrett: "The online posts analyzed it like a detective novel, with talk of murder and all sorts of crazy theories. I thought it was that mysterious."
Seraphina Vaughn grabbed a handful of sunflower seeds as Flora nudged the trash can towards her with her foot, listening as Seraphina went on: "If it was just an accident, why am I even telling you this? It’s not that simple."
Barry pulled back Audrey’s blanket and sat on the bed with her, getting ready to listen to the tale.
Seraphina Vaughn: "A colleague of mine, who lives in the sa neighborhood as Nolan Hawke, said their community group talked about soone being hit by a car after the incident. There was even a rather grueso video shared in the group at the ti, and they were discussing how the car should have been going slow in the neighborhood, so even if there was an accident, it shouldn’t have been so bad his brains spilled out."
Audrey Sutton frowned deeply, "That’s making feel a bit nauseous."
Flora: "Then what happened? What’s the truth?"
Seraphina Vaughn: "Then sothing strange happened. The community group issued a notice on the sa day saying the incident couldn’t be spread around, and the videos must be deleted. If there was nothing shady, why be so guilty?"

Seraphina Vaughn gave Barry a thumbs up in agreent: "I heard the driver was a woman, but no one saw the actual accident. Residents said there was a loud bang, and then they found out about the accident. The videos circulating in the group were post-accident, and normally, surveillance footage should be available if it were an accident and not concealed. They said the police were in and out of the community for days handling the incident, but eventually, it was left unresolved, and people only discussed it privately. Rumor has it soone intentionally ran him down and covered it up as an accident."
Flora: "So, that ans the culprit is kind of influential."
Seraphina Vaughn gave Audrey a pointed look: "A woman, knows Nolan Hawke, sowhat influential, anyone co to mind?"
Audrey Sutton froze, quickly having an answer in her mind, while Flora and Barry simultaneously blurted out, "Clarissa Morgan?"
Seraphina Vaughn nodded: "It’s just speculation. If we could see the video from that ti, we’d know, but it’s probably wiped clean. But Audrey, if that Morgan woman bothers you again, you can use this to test her reaction."
Audrey Sutton paused and said, "I doubt she’d dare. Besides, wasn’t she close to Nolan Hawke before?"
Seraphina Vaughn spoke earnestly: "Audrey, you’re too naive. You can’t just look at the surface, especially with soone as two-faced as Clarissa Morgan. She seems to get along well with you, but really?"
Audrey Sutton thoughtfully nodded: "Then I’ll give it a try if there’s a chance."
Seraphina Vaughn: "I heard another rumor, unsure if it’s true. They say Clarissa Morgan and Quentin Sterling have divorced and are living apart. Have you heard anything about this?"
Audrey Sutton looked stunned, clearly unaware, and said skeptically, "Isn’t that fake? I heard the drama Clarissa Morgan is currently filming is all funded by Quentin Sterling. She wouldn’t leave a stepping stone like Quentin during her career peak."
