In Audrey Sutton’s mind, Shane and Arthur Sutton were actually the sa type of n, smart but not much help in a fight, looking like the kind of genteel guys who wouldn’t get rough.
They probably wouldn’t be of much help in a fight, but they had lots of ideas, so Audrey didn’t think too much, and hurriedly dragged them towards the bar.
After getting there, they found her dad and mom nowhere in sight, and Norman Sutton had a bruise on his face, holding a bar stool while cursing and hamring away.
Among the crowd fighting barehanded on the other side, she spotted Faye Xavier and Luc, both moving quite swiftly, as if they had so training.
They should have been more than enough to handle the five or six guys earlier, but the kid with braces called over another ten or so buddies: "Beat them up! I’ll take responsibility for whatever happens!"
In the midst of the chaos, Scott Sutton walked downstairs, gestured to the DJ not far away, and the music in the venue suddenly stopped.
The crowd in the dance floor stopped swaying, began whispering among themselves, and looked around to see what was happening.
The fighting crowd also paused as Scott Sutton leisurely walked over, scanned the "hot-blooded youths," and asked, "Who’s your leader here?"
All the young n’s eyes simultaneously looked towards the kid with braces, who was not fazed and stepped forward, speaking in a provoking tone: "Who are you? I advise you to mind your own business, or you might end up hurting your pretty hair, missy."
The word "missy" made the kid’s group burst into laughter, and the kid with braces also laughed smugly, thinking he’d won verbally.
Scott Sutton kept a smile on his face, "Mocking soone’s appearance is really low, brace-face."
The kid with braces imdiately got angry, swore so obscenities, and swung his fist at Scott Sutton, but his punch was firmly caught midway, then Scott twisted the kid’s arm and pushed him lightly, making the kid lose his balance and sit on the ground.
Feeling humiliated, the kid with braces got even angrier: "Damn it, what are you guys standing there for? Get him! Yank out all his hair for !"
"Stop! Police!" Franklin Sutton walked up with his badge, scanning the crowd, "Gathering to fight, all of you need to co with ."
The kid with braces sneered, "You dare take ? I’ll make you pay!"
Franklin Sutton: "Well, I’d like to see who has that kind of power."
Saying that, Franklin swiftly pinned the kid with brace’s arms behind him, as the kid struggled, the little followers hesitated whether to help, "Stay put, fighting is minor, but attacking a police officer can’t be solved with a re scolding from a parent."
"Let go! You know who I am? Third Young Master Warner from The Warner family is my cousin! If you touch , you won’t keep your job!"
Franklin, hearing that, found it more amusing, smiled and asked him, "Who did you say?"
The kid with braces snorted, repeating confidently: "Third Young Master Warner, Shane Warner! He’s my cousin! Scared, huh? Let go of then."
Audrey turned and glanced at Shane, who also seed surprised by this claim.
She initially thought he was so thug using his na to scare people, then suddenly rembered he indeed had a long-estranged cousin who recently returned.
Shane walked up, looked over the kid with braces carefully, and cautiously called his na, "Heath?"
Heath lifted his head at the sound, and upon seeing Shane, he imdiately smiled, "Cousin?! You arrived right on ti; you have to handle him, see how he bullied !"
Franklin pressed Heath’s arm harder, "Behave yourself! Handle whom?"
After confirming his identity, Shane stood straight, stared coldly at Heath who was held by Franklin, with no intention of helping.
After a pause, Shane surveyed the group around and asked Heath nonchalantly, "Are these your people?"
Heath nodded, "Yeah, they’re all my friends!"
Shane: "You’ve only been back a few days? How have you gathered so many cronies?"
Heath cheerfully replied, "I’m well-liked. Cousin, tell him to let go; my arm’s going numb, it feels like it’s going to waste."
Shane chuckled, "I think it should be wasted."
Having been beaten, Norman Sutton rushed up saying, "Wasting your arms would be letting you off easy! Who are you pestering with? He’s your cousin? He’s still my brother-in-law! By that logic, you ought to call bro, young punk. Looks like you need so discipline!"
Heath spat, "Who allowed you to talk? Shut up!"
"Oh really? Young punk, you still don’t get it? Still acting tough?" Norman strutted over, teasingly tapped Heath’s face and provoked, "You’re in big trouble now!"
"Get your filthy hands off ! Cousin, say sothing already!"
Shane, with an arm around Audrey, casually said, "Take him back to the station, handle him as you see fit, don’t let him off easy just because of ."
Heath looked incredulously at Shane leaving with Audrey, yelling at his back, "Cousin? Cousin! Don’t go! Speak up for !"
Flora Lane chuckled, "You harass his wife and still want him to speak up for you?"
Heath looked utterly confused, what the heck? His cousin was supposed to be the sovereign of Rivia, the na worked great until just now, why not now?
Who called the police amidst the chaos was unknown, but several police cars arrived with sirens blaring, taking all the young rascals away.
Nobody suffered serious injuries, but they were all bruised, with Norman probably having it the worst.
Sitting in a booth, holding an egg given by his fourth brother to soothe his face, with his fifth brother bandaging the wound on his left arm.
Norman exaggeratedly talked about his one-against-five feat, while Samuel Sutton called him out, "With your skills, you still have the nerve to brag, look at how badly beaten you are."
Norman retorted, "Dad, you still dare say that? Who ran away leaving in there? If I was prepared, I wouldn’t have gotten hit."
Samuel declared, "I was protecting your mom first, how is that running away?"
Hazel Yates giggled and said, "Glad nothing serious happened; in retrospect, it’s quite morable, almost like reliving the days when your father was much more sprightly, but now he has to admit he’s getting old."
Audrey, overhearing, whispered to Shane beside her, "Are you good at fighting? If a situation like this arose between us, wouldn’t you leave behind and run away?"
Shane chuckled, not boasting about his fighting skills, just teasing Audrey, "One less getting hit is always better than both getting hit."
Audrey pouted, letting go of his arm, muttering, "Knew it, just a jerk, all show and no go."
