Scott Sutton waited downstairs until two deliveryn left and then started sweeping the trash left on the ground with a broom.
Before long, the doorbell rang, and Scott thought it was the food delivery.
He walked over, opened the door, and saw a little girl who looked about 1.6 ters tall, dragging a suitcase.
The girl initially wore a smile and seed about to say sothing, but seeing that the person who opened the door wasn’t soone she knew, she thought she might have knocked on the wrong door and stepped back to check the number on the door.
After confirming that she was in the right place, the girl puzzledly asked, "...Who are you?"
Scott was stunned at the door, opened his mouth, but didn’t know how to explain.
"Is the food delivery here?!" At this mont, Evelyn Linton appeared at the landing of the stairs in her nightgown, her hair wrapped in a towel.
Seeing the girl standing at the door, she imdiately asked in surprise, "Belle? Didn’t you say you’d co back tomorrow?"
The girl called Belle imdiately dragged her suitcase into the house, "Soone texted saying they were exhausted, so I rushed back."
Evelyn: "I spent the afternoon packing by myself today; I’m really wiped out. How’s your grandpa doing?"
Belle: "Nothing serious, my mom and them are at the hospital taking care of him. He’ll be discharged in a couple of days."
As Belle was speaking, she glanced at Scott and was about to ask when the delivery person arrived, peering into the open door and said to Scott, "Hello, did you order food delivery?"
Scott nodded and reached out to take the delivery.
Evelyn imdiately walked over to say thank you, then noticed the broom in Scott’s hand and the pile of trash he had swept up. She hurriedly said, "Oh, you don’t have to trouble yourself with this; we’ll clean up later. You can go on with what you were doing."
Belle pulled Evelyn to the side and whispered, "Who is this? Your new hire?"
"No, no, go upstairs first; we’ll talk while eating. I’m about to start my livestream."
The two went upstairs one after the other, while Scott sighed helplessly and continued to sweep the floor.
Once in the room, Evelyn sat down at the table, opened the food box, and started eating voraciously.
After dropping her luggage in her room, Belle imdiately ca over to Evelyn’s room and dragged her aside, asking, "This isn’t your new boyfriend, right? I leave for two days, and you got yourself a guy? What about being exhausted? Don’t tell you’ve been fooling around with so handso guy?"
Hearing that, Evelyn nearly choked on her food, hurriedly drinking from the cup. She gave Belle a glare and said, "What nonsense are you talking about? Didn’t I tell you before that I planned to rent out that room? That’s our new roommate; she moved in yesterday."
Belle frowned, "Didn’t you say you were looking for a girl?"
Evelyn stared at Belle as if she was looking at an idiot, "Isn’t she a girl? How can you not see that? She’s just a bit tall."
Belle was startled, thought about the person she encountered earlier, and still felt sothing was off, saying, "Is she a girl? Being tall is one thing, but that fra doesn’t look feminine. Nowadays, many guys have long hair, and my first impression is that he’s a guy."
Evelyn rolled her eyes, gobbling up her al, "How many guys are nad Scott Sutton? She’s definitely a girl, you..."

Seeing Belle’s excited reaction, Evelyn thought she had said sothing serious and repeated softly, "Sco... Scott Sutton? The ’snow’ snow, typical for girls, right?"

Evelyn continued eating while looking at Belle with a puzzled expression, "What’s wrong with you?"
After a while, Belle seed to have found what she was looking for on her phone and handed it to Evelyn: "Look, just look!"
Evelyn took the phone in confusion and saw a post on so App, titled: "The Hidden Secrets of the Suttons in Rivia."
"The Suttons?"
Belle: "Scroll down and see what the fourth Sutton is called."
Evelyn scrolled down the screen, and after seeing the na, she was startled: "Scott Sutton? Is there a guy with that na?"
Belle said, exasperated, "I can’t believe how slow you are! Look at the photos! Compare it with the person downstairs who was helping you clean!"
Evelyn scrolled further, and the photos below seed to be from an ID photo of Scott Sutton from his first year of college, with short hair back then.
Evelyn tilted her head and looked for a long ti, not finding much resemblance. She said, "Just the sa na; what’s the big deal about that?"
Belle exclaid, "I want to smack you! Just the sa na? It’s the sa person! That fourth Sutton can’t possibly be a girl! What’s going on with you guys? How did he end up renting your place? Why do you think he’s a girl?"
Evelyn still looked puzzled at the photo, but after a closer look, it did seem a bit alike...
But Belle’s questions also mirrored Evelyn’s own doubts. If it truly was the fourth Sutton, with all the Suttons’ properties, why rent a room here for just $2,500 a month?
Moreover, her first impression of Scott was as a girl, and she kept calling him "Crystal," to which he never objected?
Could they not just share a na but also look similar?
Deep in thought, Evelyn picked up her chopsticks to grab so food again, but Belle smacked her on the back of her head: "You’re still eating?! Go ask him for clarification!"
Evelyn said, "How... how do I ask? You’re overthinking it, it’s definitely a coincidence!"
Although her words were confident, Evelyn lacked conviction when she spoke.
Because, looking back, she also noticed many suspicious points.
For instance, when signing the contract, Scott only gave an ID number, saying he didn’t have the ID card with him.
And he never spoke much, always wearing clothes with a very high collar.
Thinking back now, it all seed very suspicious.
But more baffling for Evelyn was, if that person really was the fourth Sutton, why would he resort to deception to rent her room?
The Suttons have so many industries; surely it couldn’t be that they were eyeing her downstairs stock?
Though unlikely, the more Evelyn thought about it, the more uneasy she felt. She decided it best to get to the bottom of things.
Is he male or female? Is he the Scott Sutton from the Sutton family? And why rent a place here?
