Chapter 132 -131 Suddenly Changing Mind
Chi Yan’s expression was terrible, and she stood up to leave the moment the rankings were announced.
Jiang Nuan followed her out.
Su Qing and Kong Wen, however, did not leave.
Su Qing sat in his seat and turned to look at Chi Gui, only to see the girl’s expression still cold and indifferent, seemingly not taking the petition seriously at all.
He paused, and the professor’s words echoed in his mind again, “A talent like hers es once in a hundred years…”
Su Qing closed his eyes, sat for a while, and waited until the crowd congratulating Nian Nian and the others had thinned before he slowly walked over.
Nian Nian noticed him; her originally excited mood suddenly stiffened.
Su Qing glanced at Chi Guiyi and saw she didn’t even lift her head, her eyes deepened before he turned to Nian Nian, “Congratulations to you all.”
He was always aloof, especially towards Nian Nian, Chu Jia, and Yi Rui—it was almost impossible for them even to have a conversation with him.
Now that he had taken the initiative to e over and congratulate them, all three were momentarily taken aback and stared at him in confusion.
Su Qing frowned, feeling a rush of irritation that was unlike him!
Su Qing said nothing more and swiftly turned away, quickly leaving.
“What’s wrong with him?” Chu Jia asked, puzzled. “Why did he suddenly get angry?”
Yi Rui and Nian Nian shook their heads.
Chi Gui, immersed in the rally petitions, had pletely missed what had happened here. After briefly checking the international schedule, she put away her phone and stood up, “Let’s go.”
Nian Nian and her group hurriedly followed.
Liu Yawei was waiting at the door.
Upon seeing them e out, he said gravely, “I’ve informed the school about Ding Xuan leaking your petition topics. Principal Lin has said that if it’s confirmed, Ding Xuan will be expelled.”
Expulsion was the strictest punishment for a college student.
Yet, Nian Nian and the others had no sympathy for her.
If it weren’t for Sister Chi, it would have been them whose futures were ruined!
Chi Gui had no objections to this either.
The four returned to the villa, and Chi Gui received a message from Chi Mingkun, “Sister, how was your petition?”
“It was fine,” Chi Gui briefly replied.
“That’s good,” Chi Mingkun replied after a while.
He said a few more things later, somewhat absent-mindedly and even a few words didn’t quite connect.
Chi Gui didn’t inquire further.

After finishing the chat with Chi Gui, Chi Mingkun sighed and looked at Qi Yuan, “How is it?”
Qi Yuan shook his head, his face downcast.
Apart from the usual car playing, their team’s most important task was to broadcast the only domestically qualified “Hummer” team’s races during the international petition season.
These past few years, they had cooperated quite happily with the team; for some reason, this year, just two days before the petition when they were about to sign the agreement, the “Hummer” team suddenly reneged.
Qi Yuan had already approached their manager several times, but each time he was denied even a face-to-face meeting.
“I’ll go and ask in person,” Chi Mingkun put away his phone, stood up, and drove to the “Hummer” team club.
