The young disciple hadn’t thought much about it, but he had so Eye Power and could see that Qu Shanling was displeased and disdainful, so he imdiately took on borrowed authority to scold him.

He ca to Heishi City with great expectations, only to find that Mu Nan and Sun Yuzhe had co to greet him just as he was about to enter the city, making him feel slighted and very annoyed.
If it had been soone else, simply getting the annoyance off his chest would have been enough, but he needed to maintain an air of superiority and calm detachnt, requiring him not to react—even when two disciples mocked and ridiculed Qu Shanling, he had to step in to scold them, making him even more frustrated.
Harboring a frustration he had not yet vented, when he finally t Mu Nan in person, he found a reason to let his anger out.
Seeing him angry, Housekeeper Sun was so frightened his face turned pale.

His composure did not seem that of a re teenager; even Mu Hanyan nodded silently in approval.

"Senior Qu, and two fellow disciples, why don’t we go to the auction event first and see how things go?" Mu Nan took the opportunity to suggest.
"Then let’s go and see. Show what skills you have that make these unworthy disciples revere you so highly," Qu Shanling said with a cold face.
"This way, please, Master!" Seeing that Master was no longer angry for the mont, Housekeeper Sun breathed a sigh of relief and led them toward the carriage.
"By the way, Master, this is—" the steward started to introduce Mu Hanyan to Qu Shanling.
