When Neliel led Ulquiorra and the others into a cave door with a snake-shaped opening, they entered a base where Orochimaru had been hiding in the Hollow World for thousands of years.
It doesn’t seem particularly large.
However, it is quite a world unto itself; Orochimaru has enslaved tens of thousands of Gillian Level Hollows. After thousands of years of transformation, the entire base almost spreads throughout the underground of the Hollow Forest.
