The threatening growls reverberated through the corridor. Xiao Hai glanced in Chis’s direction, then looked down at the two warm Pukis in her arms... Her claws tightened, unwilling to let go.
Ultimately, she directed her gaze towards Norris.
Norris had co here for battle, showing no hesitation. The four-ter tall Jida started moving with heavy steps, thundering toward the Chis, with two mushroom cannons on his shoulders firing first under his control!
Unfortunately, the Pukis fixed inside the armor couldn’t aim independently, relying entirely on Norris for calibration, making the hit rate imaginable.
However, luck was decent this ti. Of the two mushroom cannon shots, one successfully... blasted towards the sky!
A Six Claw Chis leapt up like lightning, intercepting the strike mid-air!
The cost was grave: its spine shattered into pieces, its mangled body hit the ground.
The atball felt threatened, forcing the Chis to face the attack head-on.
Several Chis distorted the surrounding light strangely, vanishing into the air in an instant.
But Norris wasn’t controlling Jida with vision at the mont. The scouting Puki perched on his head used [Magic Perception] to clearly pinpoint the Chis’s positions!
Jida suddenly ramd forward with his left arm’s "Rock Armor Puki Shield"!

A Chis sneaking close to the wall was crushed against it.
Simultaneously, four Blade Whips on the right arm whipped out, precisely tearing several bone-deep gashes in another Chis.
Norris cleared out the Chis along the corridor, occasionally being scratched and leaving so marks on the shell, but as long as he wasn’t surrounded, two or three Chis were hardly a threat to Jida head-on.
The key point was that Xiao Hai, holding two Drilling Pukis, was behind. All the Chis attempting to bypass Norris and attack his back would be kicked to death by Xiao Hai!
The Chis were not entirely powerless. They cleverly left scars on Jida’s right arm multiple tis. When Norris swung the Blade Whip again, several Chis suddenly sprang up, their claws precisely severing Jida’s right forearm!

The responding Chis turned to strike back, its claws tearing through the air with a savage swipe!
An attack of this level, the ordinary Hunter could easily dodge then use a Bone Spear to pierce through, but he was already spent.
Without a mont’s hesitation, the Hunter resolutely thrust his only remaining left arm into the claws!
Flesh and bone beca shields once more, forcefully blocking the strike, while his right arm bone, protruding through the skin, successfully pierced through the head of the Chis!
The sky tossed aside the atball, supporting the wavering Hunter. His only remaining right hand trembled, gathering faint green magic light in an attempt to stop the blood gushing wildly.
"Hunter... your arms!"
The Far North didn’t have a developed magic potion industry. Out of all the potions the Elder Council had, none could possibly include the rare Limb Regeneration Potion.
The Hunter’s left hand was mangled, and the right hand even worse, reduced to a sinister wreck in the collision, leaving only a cruelly twisted wrist and protruding arm bone.
This ant that even if he survived, he would forever lose the strength to wield a spear, becoming... a cripple.
The Hunter himself, however, didn’t care much: "Don’t think so far ahead... I might not even leave here alive."
Thud—
Covered in scars and looking rather pathetic, Jida stood by the two.
Norris realized halfway that these two seed different from the Chis, seeing the patterns on their skin and the sharp horns on their foreheads, babbling words he couldn’t understand.
They might be from the Demon Race...
A chill ran down Norris’s spine—the Demon Race, who would eat you without spitting out the bones!
Though he had already t Louisa, a vampire who drank blood all day and occasionally gazed at Norris with peculiar eyes, fitting the image of eating without leaving bones perfectly.
This seed like another pair from the Demon Race, and long-held stereotypes had Norris briefly considering whether to kill them outright to avoid future problems, completely forgetting how inhuman he looked himself now.
But the thought only lasted a mont before Norris rembered the rule to report everything to the boss.
Norris was contemplating how to bring the two back to the range of the Fungal Mat when a dense, hair-raising crawling noise suddenly ca from not far away!
It was the Chis reinforcents, arriving late!
Floating above a group of Six Claws was a gigantic, chilling Evil Eye!
The castle corridor was roomy, allowing the four-ter tall Jida to pass, but for the massive Evil Eye, it was still too narrow, its bulk nearly filling the passageway, managing only to squeeze in.
"What is this? An Evil Eye?" It was Norris’s first ti seeing an Evil Eye, only having heard the boss ntion it before, so he wasn’t sure.
But when the gray-white ray hit Jida, he knew!
The legs went first, the tough shell rapidly turning into gray-white stone, with the Petrification Power spreading up like a plague, rcilessly solidifying the leg Pukis into stone!
Immobile, Jida instantly beca a target. Norris controlled the shoulder cannons to counterattack, firing mushroom bullets repeatedly, but they were all blocked by the Evil Eye’s surrounding Magic Shield.
If Norris was alone, he would only have the choice to jump out of Jida and flee now, but this ti he wasn’t alone!
"Xiao Hai, please help! I’ll give you two... three scales!"
Xiao Hai, hesitating between holding the warm babies and lending a hand, had her eyes light up at the promise of "three scales"!
She carefully placed the two heat-emitting Pukis against a clean wall.
The next mont!
A black light slicing through the air flashed down the corridor!
The Evil Eye attempted to petrify her, but it only managed to slightly petrify the edges of her scales before she crashed in close.
Accompanied by a deafening explosion, the Evil Eye’s sturdy Magic Shield shattered as its revoltingly huge eyeball burst into a rain of sticky purple fluid!
The black light continued through, sweeping over the chaotic Six Claw group, leaving dismbered limbs in its wake!
Minutes later, the Dragon Man, now stained purple, danced joyfully in front of the stiff Jida, his tail wagging happily.
"This is... the power of the Dragon Man..." The Hunter, leaning against the wall, witnessed it all, muttering in shock, his eyes filled with awe.
On the ground, the discarded atball had quietly stretched out its concealed limbs in an attempt to slip away amid the chaos, a subtle movent detected by the Hunter!
Pak!
But before he could alert anyone, Xiao Hai stomped on it like a cockroach, casually squashing it into pieces.
Norris and Xiao Hai rely thought they squashed an ordinary Chis soldier.
After so painful noises inside Jida, Xiao Hai ended up with three brand new Bright Crystals!
