A sphere of Lighting Technique rose into the air, its orange-yellow glow dispelling the darkness.
The space was silent, as if devoid of any living creatures.
Before entering, Ilo proactively lifted the Insight Technique from his eyes.
The black cubes in this Abyssal Space were highly condensed conceptual information. Observing them directly with the Insight Technique would lead to Spirit shocks similar to touch.
Years ago, he suffered greatly when he accidentally stumbled into this place for the first ti, yet the misfortune turned into a blessing, granting him a glimpse of the Ark Plan’s traces.
Though unable to use Insight Technique, Ilo had other tricks. He crushed a crystal, causing the Magic Field around him to violently disrupt.
Despite the chaos lasting but an instant, any magic traps or concealnt techniques would reveal traces within these brief fluctuations.
However... nothing was discovered.
Imdiately following, a ring of fire spread out from Ilo’s feet, extending ten ters outward.
With this moving ring of fire, Ilo sensed the direction of his mark and slowly advanced.
He walked until he reached the massive trunk of the Divine Wood, where he finally paused.
He could sense the mark was nearby yet remained vague and hard to pinpoint precisely.
"Using information cubes to interfere with perception, huh..." he murmured to himself.
But he was in no hurry to search for the Divine Artifact, instead cautiously surveying his surroundings once more.
Although he hadn’t found traces of the cunning enemy, Ilo saw the opponent’s "welcoming gift."
In the coarse bark of the Divine Wood, two elves lay unconscious, wedged between the cracks in the tree.
Both were familiar to Ilo: his disciple Seldan, who he left at the entrance to guard, and the previously missing Ark organization’s advanced mber Peragel.
The two were covered in wounds, as if subjected to brutal torture, gravely injured and barely clinging to life.
The opponent hadn’t directly killed them or used them as hostages, instead displaying them before him, evidently intending to make a point.
Or perhaps, planning to distract him into protecting the two once the battle comnced?
If that were the case, the opponent’s plan was dood to fail.
What can be sacrificed, what must be obtained—he already had the answers very clear in his heart.
Remaining vigilant, Ilo set the two down.
The Awakening Technique applied on both, Seldan groaned painfully twice but kept his eyes tightly shut, as if in a nightmare, while Peragel slowly awakened.
"I... What is this..." Peragel looked around bewildered, seemingly unable to grasp the situation.
"Peragel, who captured you?" Ilo directly asked the question he most wanted to know, which was also why he set the two down.
"Chief?! Everything... It’s all Salian’s conspiracy! He orchestrated it all!" Peragel suddenly shouted loudly.
"Salian?"
As Ilo was stunned into thought for a brief mont, Peragel abruptly lunged forward, attempting to stab with a poison-tipped dagger!
However, several vines from Ilo’s robe moved faster, sealing Peragel’s every action.
Ilo didn’t even glance at Peragel, instead sweeping his gaze across the surrounding darkness: "Just sending a Diamond Level to ambush ?"
"Hahaha! Just?"
The next mont, a massive surge of Energy erupted from within Peragel.
"For the boss!"
"How is this possible?!"
Bang—!
An extraordinarily large explosion engulfed the trio.
At the center of the explosion, a translucent Shield covered Ilo, but he was still a bit late, half of his body was lacerated, and his Magic Robe was damaged.
As for Peragel and Seldan, it was impossible for them to survive such an explosion.
It wasn’t Ilo’s carelessness, but he couldn’t fathom that an elf could Self-Destruct like this!
While magic could achieve similar effects, he couldn’t fail to sense the Magic Power fluctuations during the preparation stage; he had ample ability to respond.
And such a fast-initiating Self-Destruction must be a Talent Skill!
Which ans... Peragel has awakened Self-Destruction?

As soon as the explosion ended, nurous Puki erged from the information cubes and attacked him.
Nurous Mushroom Cannons impacted his Shield, sending ripples across it.
So they were hidden in the information cubes!
The previous confusion cleared, but new questions followed closely behind.
While the information cubes indeed have no physical form, artifacts like the Divine Artifact are one thing, but can they hold living beings?
Whether it’s a Magic Pet or a Puppet, once inside, they either get their heads exploded or lose connection due to interference!
Ilo couldn’t figure how the opponent achieved this?
Furthermore, even if they are Magic Pets... there are just too many!
The previously empty space was now stuffed full of Puki!
The "Puki Puki" footsteps filled his ears, driving Ilo to exasperation.
The vines swept across but the Puki Self-Destructed before they could be touched.

Ilo imdiately realized the opponent’s strategy to exhaust him, thus he naturally wouldn’t comply!
He reinforced his defenses, then stood still, preparing large-scale magic.
The Puki naturally did not show any restraint, seizing the opportunity to charge forward.
Yet whether it was Self-Destruction, Mushroom Cannon, or Blade Whip, none could penetrate the defense of Ilo’s vines combined with the Shield.
But... just standing still?
Underestimating the mushrooms too much!
A group of Puki carried out an extended version of the Resonance Cannon.
Unfortunately, even amidst such battle chaos, the massive Magic Power fluctuations from the Resonance Cannon still caught Ilo’s attention.
The mont he sensed the risk, Ilo endured the nausea from Magic Power’s reverse flow, aborted the ongoing Spell preparation, and dodged the shot.
The massive Magic Power explosion confird his choice’s correctness; with such power, his current Shield couldn’t entirely defend against it.
He threw a large Fireball Technique towards them, attempting to destroy the strange hybrid demon, only to be blocked by the Puki’s collective Magic Shields.
Overcoming the Shield with brute force was an option, but in terms of Magic Power, Ilo would be at a disadvantage.
Ultimately, he rushed in from a certain distance, using vines to strangle that hybrid demon, finally restarting the preparation of the prior Spell.
Yet as another Resonance Cannon erged, forcing him to halt the casting once more, Ilo was already ready to curse!
