Li Jiayuan was holding her child at ho, talking to herself, "Nian Jun, what do you think, why hasn’t your father co back yet? Could it be that he really doesn’t plan to want us two anymore? "Dad, I’m back. Are you, are you doing well?" Xiao Wei said softly, looking at the astonished Li Haixiao.
Once Li Haixiao confird that it was indeed Xiao Wei, he quickly said, "You’ve finally co back. Do you know how much Jiayuan has suffered, not eating or sleeping well, missing you every mont? Why did you co back only now? This is your child; look, doesn’t he look just like you?"
Xiao Wei looked at the child in Li Haixiao’s arms—whether the child knew Xiao Wei was his father or what, he just kept smiling at Xiao Wei, nearly lting his heart. How could he be so adorable? Only now did he realize what he had missed!
"Dad, where’s Jiayuan?"

Turning, Xiao Wei went upstairs and knocked on the bedroom door.

Xiao Wei didn’t leave; he knew there was much grievance in Li Jiayuan’s heart, he couldn’t just abandon her like before. He said to Li Jiayuan, "Listen to , let explain. It’s not what you think, I didn’t intentionally leave you and the child. Look, I’m back now, aren’t I? Can’t you forgive ?"
Li Jiayuan suddenly found it amusing. With a look that was a mix of laughter and tears, she said to Xiao Wei, "Haven’t you forgotten? A year ago we had an argunt, and I begged desperately for you to stay. How did you treat then? Now that I have given birth to our child, you co back begging for my forgiveness. Hearing Li Jiayuan’s words, Xiao Wei really wanted to retort, but he had no strength to do so. Everything Li Jiayuan was saying was true. What could he say?
