"Butler, could you please get a pair of shoes?" Sumr Shawcross turned to the butler holding an umbrella and waiting at the car door.
Upon hearing her request, the butler glanced at her curiously, then quickly nodded.
"No need."
Noah Drexler’s tall figure was already by the car door. He raised his hand to open it, then removed his black suit jacket and draped it over her legs that were revealed by her short dress. He lifted her out of the car and headed towards the villa.
Sumr froze for a mont, then reached out to hug Noah Drexler’s neck.
Seeing this, the butler wore a broad smile and quickly covered them with the umbrella.
Once inside the villa, Noah Drexler paused for two seconds, gave an order, and carried Sumr up the stairs.
"Bring the first aid kit to the bedroom."
"Alright." The butler responded quickly, his face beaming with a happy smile as he watched Noah Drexler carry Sumr upstairs.
It seed her bowl of chicken soup was fed to the wrong person, but the effect wasn’t too bad!
"Butler, do you think the missus has truly stopped running away this ti?" Another servant ca over and asked rather gossiply.
The missus, who used to stir up trouble every day, has suddenly beco well-behaved. She’s been making chicken soup for the master and busying herself with various tasks, even treating the servants much better.
This made the servants, who had suffered under her whims for the past two years, feel as if it wasn’t real. They were afraid that the well-behaved and gentle missus would suddenly cause a big scene again soday...
Upon hearing the servant’s question, the butler seriously pondered for a few seconds before nodding.
"I suppose so..."
"How do you know?" The servant asked curiously.
The butler smiled, unable to provide a reason.
She didn’t know what was going on either. The various behaviors of Sumr Shawcross in the past had indeed irritated her, and she hadn’t found any qualities in her that matched Mr. Drexler.
But recently... she found the girl increasingly endearing and lovable. Every day, looking at the girl’s smiling face lifted her spirits.
Even the old habit of Sumr Shawcross sleeping in, which she hated the most, now seed less of a flaw, and she was even worried about her not getting enough sleep every day...

Noah Drexler carried Sumr Shawcross back to the bedroom, but didn’t stop. Instead, he headed straight to the bathroom.
Once inside the bathroom, he bent down and set her down, then turned the faucet on the bathtub to the hot water position and started filling it.
After everything was ready, he looked down at her legs, scratched by the grass leaves, and suddenly frowned to remind her.
"Don’t soak too long."
Soaking too long wouldn’t be good for her wounds.

Noah Drexler turned to leave the bathroom when Sumr called out to him.
"Oh... you’re wet too. You should soak in the bath as well."
After her words fell, Noah Drexler paused, furrowed his brows, and seed deep in thought over sothing.
Seeing this, Sumr felt confused. Was what she said so difficult to understand? She was simply suggesting he take a bath to warm up, did it require such serious contemplation?
"Alright." After pondering for a while, Noah Drexler’s deep voice rang out.
