Sumr Shawcross had the driver take her to the studio where she had arranged to et her agent.
Just as she got out of the car, Jessica, who had been waiting for a long ti, ca over and took her by the hand, leading her into the elevator.
"The ad shoot is about to begin, hurry and get ready."
"By the way, what ads am I shooting these days?" It was only after entering the elevator that Sumr asked her agent curiously.
Yes, she was still unsure what kind of ads she was going to shoot.
When her agent told her about shooting comrcials for endorsents, she was still in Zephyria, so she wasn’t in the mood to ask further.
"Today, you’re shooting a ga ad, tomorrow a won’s clothing ad, the day after that a sanitary napkin ad, and then a magazine shoot. In short, your schedule is completely packed with work." Her agent explained with a delighted smile.
As soon as Jessica ntioned the ga ad, Sumr frowned.
It’s widely known that such ads usually have female artists play female characters from the gas, which are almost invariably styled to be busty and sexy. She felt sowhat uncomfortable about wearing the scantily clad outfits for the ga ad shoot.
Yet, since she had already signed the contract, she had to grit her teeth and go through with it.
Before long, the elevator doors opened, and Jessica led Sumr to the studio.
However, when they entered, there was no one to greet them.
Not only that, what should have been a busy studio was instead a desolate scene...
Only a few staff mbers were packing up the outfits ant for the ad shoot, getting ready to take them away.
The sight left Sumr and Jessica a bit stupefied.
The ad was about to be shot, yet the scene was being dismantled and packed up, as if they were wrapping up after finishing the shoot.
"Excuse , isn’t there supposed to be an ad shoot here soon? Why haven’t we seen any photographers?" Jessica asked one of the staff, puzzled.
The staff looked a bit stunned after hearing Jessica’s question.
"You didn’t know... the ga company just ran into trouble..."
"What?" Jessica was taken aback, quite shocked.
"Yeah, I heard the ga company just announced bankruptcy, so the ad shoot was canceled. We’re getting ready to pack everything up." The staff nodded, then continued his work.
In the empty studio, Sumr and Jessica exchanged looks, speechless.
At that mont, Jessica rembered sothing, hurriedly pulled out her phone, and began checking the work ssages she hadn’t gotten to.
Sure enough, there was a termination ssage she had missed.
"It’s true, the termination compensation has already arrived in the account. This speed is almost too fast." Jessica said, a bit impressed.
Although she understood the difficulties of the ga company’s bankruptcy, she was still surprised by their quick compensation for the termination.
Listening to Jessica, Sumr felt a bit embarrassed.
She hadn’t expected her first endorsent would end with the endorsing company closing down. Her heart sank a bit.
Feeling down, she took her agent’s phone, but upon seeing the long string of numbers in the termination compensation, she felt a surge of joy.
"Jessica, we struck it rich." She said seriously to Jessica.
