His serious deanor at the mont was no less than when he was working, and in his deliberately gentle actions, Sumr Shawcross saw a trace of caution.

After Noah Drexler finished disinfecting Sumr Shawcross, he was just about to continue applying dicine when he noticed sothing was off with her.
Turning his gaze to her face at that mont, he couldn’t help but furrow his brow.
"Does it hurt?"
He had tried to be as gentle as possible, yet he hadn’t expected to still hurt her.
"No, it doesn’t hurt at all." Sumr Shawcross smiled, her big eyes curving into bright crescents with her smile...
Noah Drexler stared at her for two seconds, then resud applying the dicine.
After finishing, the redness on Sumr’s leg had faded a bit. She looked at her leg, feeling a bit amazed.
"You go to sleep first, I have a few things to handle." Noah Drexler tossed the ointnt back into the dicine box and suddenly said to her.
With that, he got up from the sofa and prepared to head to the study.
Sumr Shawcross was startled, quickly reaching out to grab his arm.
"It’s so late, you should get so rest..." she said softly.
Though she didn’t want to admit it, without him there, her sleep wasn’t as peaceful, often filled with dreams she hated, causing her to wake up startled.
Noah Drexler froze in his movents, his handso face softened at the sight of her expression at that mont...
She looked up at him, her expression just right, so much so that after staring at her face for just a second, his heart softened uncontrollably.
A few seconds later, he furrowed his brow and glanced at her.
"Not going? Weren’t you going to rest?"
After speaking, he turned around and walked towards the bed.
Seeing this, Sumr’s face lit up with surprise, quickly getting off the sofa, slipping on her slippers, and dashed after him.
Noah Drexler walked swiftly to the bed, lifted the covers, and lay down, turning off the main light in the room, leaving just a small bedside lamp.
However, he hadn’t settled in when the petite figure followed onto the bed, lifting the covers but not settling in quietly. Instead, she snuggled over to his side, nestled into his arms, and showed a contented expression.
Her actions caused Noah Drexler to freeze for a mont, glancing down at the little woman who had naturally nestled into his embrace.
"It’s raining today, I’m a bit cold..." Sumr Shawcross looked up, giving a forced laugh, casually finding an excuse for herself.
Cold?
Her words made him appear slightly puzzled, but he didn’t say anything. Instead, he raised his hand and turned off the bedside lamp.
