"I’m just working overti tonight and was wondering where to have dinner..." Flynn Hughes gave a smile, then spoke with a desperate plea to Noah Drexler.
Hearing this, Noah Drexler gave him a satisfied look, then lowered his gaze to the woman beside him.
"Shall we go?" He raised an eyebrow slightly, asking her.
She paused for a mont before nodding, then turned to follow him away.
As the two left, the driver also departed, leaving Flynn Hughes standing there alone, looking confused in the direction Noah Drexler had left.
He always thought Noah Drexler was so kind of oddity who didn’t understand emotions or simply didn’t need them!
But from his recent behavior, he realized it wasn’t that Noah didn’t need emotions; he was just exceedingly reserved... to the point where it possibly led to psychological issues!
With this thought, Flynn Hughes sighed and resigned himself to carrying his things back to his office.

On the way back, inside the car.
Sumr Shawcross sat in the back seat, turning to look at Noah Drexler beside her, suddenly noticing that he wasn’t wearing his usual business suit, but rather a tuxedo with so unique details.
Seeing this, she couldn’t help but feel curious. Did he attend so formal event today?
However, she didn’t dwell on it much and instead asked worriedly, testing him.
"By the way, Noah Drexler, has sothing happened at the group in the past couple of days..."
As soon as she finished speaking, Noah Drexler imdiately pursed his lips to deny it.
"No." After saying that, he glanced sideways, suddenly staring at her face, then asked with concern.
"Why are you suddenly interested in the group’s affairs?"
With his question, Sumr Shawcross sighed and simply confessed.
"I know about the anonymous letter incident."
Her emotions were complex; last ti he suspected her of betraying him, his expression had been terrifying... as if he wanted to kill her.
But this ti... even with hard evidence in his hands, he hadn’t ntioned a word of it to her, not even a single accusatory question.
This wasn’t like him...
"Did Flynn Hughes tell you?" As soon as she finished speaking, Noah Drexler frowned, a cold expression appearing on his handso face.
"It’s not his fault. I overheard at the door..." Sumr quickly explained.
After she finished, he just continued to frown, without questioning her.
Seeing him not asking, Sumr Shawcross was taken aback. Although it was sothing that happened in a past life, it was indeed her doing.
She took a deep breath, then began to defend herself.
"Noah Drexler, I was too naive back then, too trusting of Dustin Hughes, that’s why I..."
Her words were interrupted by his deep, cold voice.
"No need to explain." He frowned, his black eyes unfathomably deep, impossible for anyone to see through.
Sumr Shawcross was stunned, her face showing a look of shock as she looked at him.
"I..." Just as she wanted to say sothing else, the driver’s voice suddenly ca over.
"Boss, madam, we’ve arrived."
Hearing the driver’s words, Sumr Shawcross instinctively turned to look out the window.
But she found the scenery outside unfamiliar to her.
She couldn’t help but show surprise on her face; they hadn’t returned to The Hillside Villa.
