The place they were currently at was a small dock by the lake.
Looking at the outside scenery, Sumr Shawcross couldn’t help but speak up and turned to ask Noah Drexler, who was sitting beside her.
"Where is this?"
But Noah Drexler didn’t answer her. Instead, he glanced at her before suddenly opening the car door and got out.
Sumr Shawcross froze in her seat for a couple of seconds, looking shocked out the car window.
By now, the sky was dark, and a yacht was quietly docked at the riverside pier.
Just as she was suspiciously looking at the dock, the car door on her side was suddenly opened.
"Get out of the car." Noah Drexler stood at the car door, looking down at the confused woman inside.
Hearing his voice, Sumr Shawcross was montarily stunned, and then she got out of the car.
After getting out, she realized that a few bodyguards had been waiting on the dock all along.
Seeing the two get out of the car, Sean Morgan, who had been waiting for a long ti, ca over, stopped beside Noah Drexler, and spoke in a low voice.
"Boss, everything is ready. We can board the boat now."
Hearing this, Noah Drexler nodded his chin and then directly led Sumr Shawcross to the dockside.
"Noah Drexler, where are we going?" Sumr Shawcross asked softly, looking at the yacht moored at the dock.
Were they going out, and why hadn’t he ntioned anything to her?
Looking at her puzzled expression, Noah Drexler still did not answer her question. Instead, he hooked his thin lips and suddenly said to her,
"Let’s talk on the boat."
Seeing his mysterious look, Sumr Shawcross beca even more curious, eager to know what on earth he was up to!
Could it have sothing to do with her birthday today?
This thought had just surfaced in her mind but was imdiately dismissed by her.
A man with no romantic cells like him, how could he possibly prepare sothing romantic for her...
Thinking about it, she pursed her lips and walked forward.
Just as she was about to find the entrance to board the yacht, she realized that this kind of small yacht had no dedicated steps but needed to be climbed onto directly...
Looking at the yacht in front of her, she couldn’t help but feel troubled.
If she had Noah Drexler’s height, she could indeed easily climb aboard... but...
As she looked at the height of the yacht’s deck and then at her legs, significantly shorter than Noah Drexler’s, she felt a sting in her heart.
"Forget it, I’ll just wait here for you." She pouted, feeling a bit depressed.
She didn’t want to clumsily climb aboard in front of him... After all, she was sowhat a popular singer now!
Seeing her awkward and displeased expression, Noah Drexler’s handso face showed a faint hint of amusent.
"Troubleso." He snorted coldly, looking disdainful.
As soon as he finished speaking, the man raised his hand to unbutton his suit, then extended a strong arm, wrapped it around her waist... and with one swift move, easily lifted her onto the deck.
Sumr Shawcross was montarily stunned, and by the ti she reacted, she was already sitting on the yacht’s deck.
Just as she turned her head in shock to look at him, Noah Drexler had already flipped himself up onto the deck.
Once they boarded the boat, the other bodyguards followed suit and got on board.
The yacht slowly set off in a certain direction.
By evening, the climate had changed from stuffy to gradually cooler. The yacht wasn’t moving fast, and Sumr Shawcross sat on the deck, feeling the cool breeze brushing past her, which was quite soothing.
