"What’s wrong?" he asked her softly, concerned.
What happened?
"Can I sleep here tonight?" she paused for a mont before speaking.
The power was out, and the thunderstorm outside was too loud for her to fall asleep.
She didn’t know why, but there was an inexplicable fear inside her...
But now, as she held him and felt the warmth emanating from him, creating a sense of safety, her heart magically settled down, no longer afraid, but filled with complete security.
At this mont, she suddenly resigned herself...

As her voice fell, a look of astonishnt flashed across the man’s stern face.
"Afraid?" he frowned slightly, asking her softly.
She didn’t deny it, but gently nodded her head.
Just then, a clap of thunder suddenly sounded... Sumr Shawcross’s body tensed, and the hands holding his waist tightened a bit.
Her body was almost pressed against his, holding tightly, unwilling to let go!
The man looked down, observing her timid appearance at that mont, a hint of amused delight in his eyes.
He took a deep breath and then curled his lips slightly, teasingly asking her.
"Weren’t you going to sleep in separate rooms?"
"..." Sumr rested in his arms, speechless.
She thought her brother’s death would create so resentnt towards him...
However, during the two days they slept apart, she discovered she couldn’t bring herself to resent him at all.
Even though she felt her brother’s death was connected to Noah Drexler.
She thought she wasn’t a good sister.
Seeing her silent, not speaking for a long ti, Noah Drexler finally showed a pampering smile.
"Sumr Shawcross, you’ve broken the agreent!" He curled his lips, softly saying, with a hint of triumph in his voice.
As he finished speaking, he leaned down, scooped her up, and forcefully closed the door behind him.
He carried her back to the bed, holding her as they lay down together.
Just as they lay down, another clap of thunder rumbled.
Sumr Shawcross flinched, instinctively snuggling closer to his warm embrace, Noah Drexler holding her tightly.
A flash of lightning crossed, the light streaming in from outside illuminated the room briefly.
In that instant, Noah Drexler clearly saw her sowhat pale little face, and his handso expression turned solemn.
He lowered his head, kissed her forehead firmly, and then slowly spoke.
"Sumr Shawcross, you mustn’t ignore in the future!"
In his deep voice, there was a trace of displeasure, yet his handso face was undeniably serious.
She didn’t know, during these days when she said she needed to calm down, that watching her without being able to hold... or even at night, not being able to sleep holding her, was so frustrating for him!
In these two days, not a single part of him felt comfortable!
Only now, feeling her obediently leaning in his arms, did the frustration in his heart finally dissipate!
Replaced by a gentle, soft sensation flowing throughout his entire being, bringing unparalleled comfort and calm.
Even his mood suddenly beca relaxed and joyful!
Simply put, his mood at this mont was incredibly pleasant!
