I moved on to selecting the other employees
“Indeed, he forces Walter to ride on the fenrirs when he does not want to. Sotis, it feels a little extre.”
“With most people, he seems to enjoy so light teasing. But it’s quite different with Mr. Walter. And so perhaps it would be better if they were not in the sa house…”
In the future, if they hired new servants, they would see how Sebasian was more strict with Walter.
That in itself might not be a bad thing. But perhaps they would not like to see Walter treated differently. It could be seen as a kind of favoritism.
On the other hand, if Walter decided to go against his father’s wishes, it could create a rift… Though, Sebastian would likely crush any opposition.
“Well, it’s not like they will never see each other if he goes to Range village. Perhaps occasional visits is the right amount of distance for them.”
While I still had to check with the people in question, for now, I finished choosing the servants.
“Hah…that part is done.”
I put down the docunt and let out a sigh.
While I made the decisions, there were a lot of discussions with the others, which was a little tiring. I drank so more tea and rested.
“Next is the people you will hire to work in the fields of Range village.”
“Ah, yes…”
After resting, I was considering going to the gardens to check up on Leo and the others, when Ms. Lyra put a new stack of docunts on my desk.
It was the list of potential employees, including both those I had t, and those I had not.
“For now, Ms. Delia and Mr. Peter will definitely be hired… Uh, this one looks promising?”
“This person has no farming experience, but would be suited for simple tasks.”
“Ah, what about this person? It says that he has helped to concoct dicine before.”
“This man was born close to the main house…”
Like that, we looked through the docunt and picked the ones that seed promising, and shared our opinions on them.
I had a feeling this was going to be a lot harder than expected…
“Papa! Co over here! Feri and the others are going to do sothing interesting!”
“Huh!? Ah, Liza. You should knock before entering…”
“Nevermind that! Hurry up!”
After deciding on most of the employees, the door suddenly burst open, and then Liza entered.
As I had been so focused on looking at the docunts, I was surprised by the intrusion. It was bad for my heart. Even Ms. Gelda and Milina were surprised.
“…Well, you have finished most of it. The rest can wait. You will tire yourself out, Mr. Takumi.”
“I’m sorry, Ms. Lyra. Alright, what is it, Liza?”
“They are going to fight! And so I had to call you!”
“Huh? They are going to what…?”
She sounded so happy, so I was confused.
Well, it was clearly nothing serious, judging by her expression. Perhaps they had found a monster to battle?
“Hurry, hurry! Mama is waiting outside!”
“Uh, alright then. Sorry, Ms. Lyra…”
“Not at all. We will clean up here.”
Liza pulled out of the room.
It was rare for her to be this strong-willed about sothing… Perhaps visiting the slums and the graveyard had had a good effect on her.
I thought as I nearly tripped in the hallway… She sure had a strong grip…
