We found a wolf
“Thank you, Philip.”
“If Leo is interested, I would also like to know… But I don’t mind going in order to inform Mr. Sebastian and the others.”
Philip had been chosen to tell the others that we would be a little late.
“Well, let’s go then. Leo has already gone ahead and seems to be waiting.”

After Phillip had gone, we entered the back alley with Nicholas in the front and Johanna in the back.
As it was so narrow that there was a fear that Claire would ruin her dress, it was obviously too small for Leo to enter. And so had gone around to the other side.
Liza and Ms. Lyra was with them.
As Nicholas, I, Claire, Sherry, Ms. Hermine, Tilura and Johanna walked in, I heard Leo’s bark from the other side.
It really was not a long alley at all…
“Wou…?”
“What do you think happened, mama?”
“It does not seem to be…weakened. But it lacks energy.”
“Leo… Is that a wolf?”
“So that is what good Leo was curious about?”
Up ahead, I saw Leo pressing her nose against sothing, while Liza and Ms. Lyra looked puzzled.
They were looking at a wolf whose head drooped low towards Leo.
“Wuff Wou-wou-wou.”
“Kuuun…”
“Perhaps it is scared of Leo.”
When Leo barked as if to talk to the wolf, it replied with a quivering whimper.
“Leo, why don’t you move back a little? Yes, yes, I know you aren’t scary. Of course.”
“Wou…”
“Mama is nice!”
“Yes, good Leo is gentle, strong, impressive and adorable!”
As we wouldn’t learn anything if the wolf remained scared, I asked Leo to back away.
This made Leo a little sad, and so I had to pet her a little, and Liza and Tilura also offered encouraging words.
Though, I actually wanted Liza to help with the wolf. As I needed a translator.
“Liza, over here. Uhh, are you alright? Can you…understand ?”
“Bau.”
“Yes, it can.”
“Good, good. Hmm. What happened here? I suppose you are soone’s familiar, but…”
It had a cloth wrapped around its neck like a collar. Besides, if it wasn’t with soone, then it would have surely caused a scene when entering Ractos.
“Bau…bau.”
“It says that it’s hungry. And thirsty.”
“So it just wants food and water… But is that really it?”
It looked like it had lost the will to even move.
I thought it was strange for it to be in this state if it was just hungry.
Unless of course, it hadn’t eaten in a very long ti…
“Ms. Lyra. Sorry, but please get so food and water for it. I think…at would be best.”
“Certainly. I will go at once.”
“Thank you. …Uh, we’ll bring you so food and water imdiately. Just wait a little longer, alright?”

I handed a silver coin to Ms. Lyra, and she went off with Nicholas.

Leo barked with concern from a distance. She was especially worried about its size.
Was it possible that whoever owned it was not feeding their familiar properly?
