Leo’s magic was incredibly powerful
“Now, everyone. Please move back. Especially you, Lady Claire and Sherry… And you too, Lady Tilura, just in case. Mr. Takumi should be fine, as it is Leo’s magic.”
“Us too? I wanted to see it up close.”
Alfred told the others to stand back.
“Lady Claire. What is going to happen now is the forced breaking of a contract through the use of magic energy. It might affect you and Sherry as well. Though, I suppose you could always just make a new contract…”
“I see. Very well then. Let’s move away, Tilura.”
“Kyau.”
The guards, Nicholas, Ms. Hermine then stood in front of them, as if for protection.
We didn’t know if it would be effective, but it was better than nothing.
With such powerful magic, it was possible that it could leak and affect other familiar as well.
As for Leo, I didn’t think we even had a familiar contract. Regardless, as it was Leo’s own magic, it would probably be fine.
Rahle was not here, but there was the matter of the Gift, so we wanted her to be affected by other things as little as possible.
“Good. Now, Leo. Please release the magic energy. It should feel like pushing it out of your body…”
Alfred explained to Leo.
“Wuff? Gurr…”
“Oh… Oh!?”
“Gah…!”
“So powerful…!”
“Ahh!”
“Bow…!”
After nodding once, Leo crouched low and began to growl.
Just then, sothing dense began to fill the air. Was it Leo’s magic energy?
Not just , but everyone else seed like they were struggling to stay on their feet. It was as if we were being pushed.
“Le-Leo! That-that is too strong! Please weaken it a little…!”
“Gurrr… Wuff? Wou…”
“Phew… Well, it was your first ti… Why not do it a little by little?”
“Wuff.”
“Now, good Leo… Slowly. Like you are pushing it out a little by little. And try to direct it towards Volgrau and Deurgo.”
“Wuff! Gurr… Gurrr…”
Leo nodded at Alfred and attempted it once again.
This ti, it did not feel like she was scattering it everywhere. Probably because there was less of it, and she was directing it towards Volgrau and Deurgo. 𝘳𝒶𝐍ỘΒÊȿ
But even though I wasn’t being pushed back, I could still sense that it was ridiculously powerful.
Now that I thought about it, that ti when Leo got mad because soone had thrown a rock at Liza… Her fur had stood up and glowed. There had also been the sensation of pressure… Still considering what I felt just now, she must have been holding back.
“Bo… Bow…!”
“Tsk! I can…feel sothing moving away. What is this sense of loss?!”
“That’s it, good Leo! Increase it a little…there! Keep it at that strength!”
“Wuff! Gurr…”
“Hmm. It should work.”
“Indeed. I can see Volgrau glowing now. And what Deurgo said… Sothing similar was in the book.”
Sebastian nodded as he watched them.
According to Alfred, everything was going well and according to what he had read.
But while they appeared to be talking calmly, we were all still fighting a little to keep our balance.
Obviously, it was not as bad as before… But even when the power was directed towards Volgrau, there was so much of it still being unleashed…
