We succeeded in deactivating the contract
“Di…did it work?”
“Now…the familiar contract should be broken. Thank you, good Leo. You can stop releasing the magic energy now.”
“Wuff!”
“Hah… I feel like I just witnessed sothing amazing.”
After a few seconds, the light dimd, and then disappeared completely.
Once the energy was no longer released, and there was no pressure, I sighed with relief.
I had seen many monsters, but this mont, more than any other, made feel like I really was in a different world…
“Volgrau. How do you feel?”
“Bow? Bow…bow-wow!”
“Deurgo. Do you understand Volgrau?”
“I-I don’t… What…happened…”
“It was a success then. Thank you, Leo.”
“Wuff!”
Deurgo looked stunned and confused. It was clear that he did not understand Volgrau anymore.

“Wuff-wuff! Hah! Hah!”
“Haha. You did well, Leo. Thank you!”
“Wou!”
While sitting down, Leo wagged her tail proudly and stuck out her tongue. And so I petted and praised her.
In the anti, the soldiers dragged Deurgo away again.
He had wanted an explanation of what had just happened, but Sebastian refused him flatly.
Sebastian, turning down an opportunity to explain sothing… However, Deurgo had proven to be a terrible listener, so it was not too surprising.
“Was there any trouble between you and Sherry?”
“We are fine, Mr. Takumi. Though, that magic energy did surprise …”
“Kyau!”
Even though they were farther away, they had been able to feel it as well.
Still, there was no affect on their familiar contract, and Claire smiled as Sherry ran around her feet.
Now that it was over, Tilura also played happily with Volgrau.
“I have seen Leo angry before… But the power of a Silver Fenrir really is incredible.”
“Wuff?”
“I thought that too. You really are strong, eh? Leo?”
“Wuff!”
“Kyau! Kyau!”
“Oh, Sherry is saying she wants to be like Leo one day.”
“Haha. I suppose she beca motivated after seeing that display.”
“Wuff?”
“Kyau-kyau!”
Leo looked at her questioningly, and Sherry barked with excitent.
Leo still rembered the ti that Sherry had been stealing food, so perhaps she was doubtful.
“You’ll have to work hard, Sherry… I don’t know how…but I suppose Feri and Riruru could teach you?”
Sherry was already sitting next to Leo and trying to make the sa expression.
While she had grown a lot, she still looked very cute.
“Kyau?”
“I think she is asking about Fen…”
I had not said that na, because I didn’t think Fen would be good at training his daughter.
“Fen is…like Mr. Ekenhart. He is a little too soft on his daughter, I think?”

While I was talking with Claire and petting Sherry and Leo, the others returned.
Deurgo had already confessed to so of his cris, and there was probably a lot more to be found. He would definitely be punished for them.
However, that was not my business, and so I would leave it to the guards and Mr. Soldan.
We would likely never et again… I did not want to et him, and did not want Leo and the others to et him.
It really was a good thing that I didn’t bring Liza. He would definitely have bad opinions on beastkin.
