"I can't say for sure yet," Yuan replied calmly. "I suspect both possibilities. But we'll know the truth once you drink a drop of Fang Xiaoyan's blood."
"Drinking blood?! Are you out of your mind? How could a human drink another human's blood? No! I can't agree to this!" Empress Selena interjected angrily, her expression incredulous at Yuan's suggestion.
Fang Xiaoyan's face twisted in annoyance at Selena's remark. Clearly offended, she responded with a cold snort, "Vanessa is fortunate to have the opportunity to drink a drop of my blood. People would wage wars just for a single drop of it."
Her tone turned prideful as she continued, "My blood is highly sought after by cultivators. A single drop can heal even the most severe injuries, repair damaged ridians, and extend soone's lifespan by a thousand years. It can even nullify most curses. And yet, you dare to question ? You humans are always so arrogant and unreasonable."
Fang Xiaoyan's fierce glare silenced Empress Selena, who could only stare in disbelief. Concubine Priscilla, equally stunned, remained quiet as well.
Without waiting for further objections, Fang Xiaoyan used her sharp nails to make a small cut on her fingertip. "Vanessa, open your mouth," she instructed.
Vanessa hesitated for a mont but then complied. As soon as the drop of blood touched her tongue, a warm sensation began to spread through her entire body. The warmth reached even her lower back and womb, the areas most affected by the Cold Energy.
Fang Xiaoyan's blood carried an imnse amount of Yang Energy, the exact opposite of the Yin Energy within Vanessa's body. Yuan and his wives watched as the potent Yang Energy from Fang Xiaoyan's blood began slowly suppressing the Cold Energy in Vanessa's body.
At the sa ti, the Phoenix Blood rapidly healed Vanessa's damaged blood vessels and tissues, spreading a warm, soothing sensation throughout her body.
However, her body suddenly began to heat up. Her temperature rose with every passing second, smoke started to rise from her skin, and the blanket covering her was tossed aside.
"Aghhhh!!!" Vanessa's anguished scream filled the room, her voice trembling with pain as though her entire body was being engulfed in flas.
Fang Xiaoyan quickly sensed the changes occurring within Vanessa. Her expression turned serious as she realized what was happening. "Her Bloodline is awakening. In just a few minutes, it will be fully awakened," she said, glancing at Yuan and the others.
"What is it? Is sothing wrong with my mom?" Valeria asked, her voice shaking as tears welled in her eyes.
Fang Xiaoyan sighed before responding, "I forgot to ntion… My blood has the power to awaken a person's Bloodline. Your mother is currently undergoing that process."
"What?!" The room was filled with shock at this revelation. They now understood the sudden rise in Vanessa's body temperature.
"This is incredible… A mortal awakening her Bloodline. This is more complex than I could have imagined," Anna muttered, astonished.
Grace, filled with concern, opened her Divine Sense to check on Vanessa's condition. Given her fragile state, Grace feared Vanessa's body might not endure the strain of Bloodline awakening.
What she found left her speechless. "Her body is breaking and reconstructing itself continuously," Grace murmured, her voice heavy with concern. "The process is excruciating, and I hope she can endure it without losing her mind."
Valeria's tearful eyes turned to her mother, filled with helplessness and fear. "I hope nothing happens to her… I'm so scared…" she whispered, her tears flowing freely.
Yuan stepped forward, wrapping his arms around Valeria and pulling her into a comforting embrace. She buried her face in his chest, finding solace in his warmth.
"I'm sure she'll pull through," Yuan whispered gently. "And even if sothing goes wrong, we'll find a way to help her. She won't be alone in this."
Monts later, the temperature around Vanessa's body began to drop. Her breathing, though labored, started to stabilize, and the agonized screams subsided into muffled groans of pain. Smoke still rose faintly from her skin, as if her body was burning from within, but the worst seed to have passed.
"How is she? She still looks like she's in pain…" Concubine Priscilla asked, her voice tinged with deep concern for her mother-in-law's safety.
"Don't worry, Miss Priscilla. Her body is slowly adapting to her Bloodline. It will take so ti, but once her body is in sync with it, she'll stabilize completely," Yuan said with a reassuring smile.
Hearing his words, Empress Selena and Concubine Priscilla finally released a sigh of relief, as if a heavy weight had been lifted from their shoulders.
For now, there was nothing they could do to ease Vanessa's pain. They could only watch and wait for her body to adjust.

Yuan and his other wives shared her disbelief, struggling to process the revelation. An Immortal-Grade Bloodline was exceedingly rare, and for soone like Vanessa to have awakened it was almost beyond comprehension.
"If Vanessa's Bloodline is this powerful, then Valeria must also have a significant Bloodline," Yuan thought aloud. "She is Vanessa's firstborn, after all, and the first child often inherits a strong version of their parent's Bloodline."
A mont later, Valeria broke the silence. "When do you think Mom will wake up?" she asked, her voice laced with both concern and hope.
Yuan shook his head gently. "I'm not sure. She's probably very tired—her body burned through a lot of energy during the awakening. But we'll need to monitor her closely. We still don't know if the source of her Cold Energy is completely eliminated."
Valeria nodded, her expression softening into a smile. "How about we stay the night here and keep an eye on her? This is my ho, after all. Besides, I'd feel better knowing we're here if sothing happens to her."

Valeria chuckled and shook her head. "Don't worry about sothing so trivial, Selena. This is how we always sleep. It's normal for us. Besides, Yuan can't sleep well unless we're around him."
Empress Selena blinked, her expression caught between disbelief and confusion.
