Tang Ming had rarely worn such attire in his life, but now that he couldn’t escape, he had no choice but to listen to Liu ngting and casually picked a black suit, then went back to his room to change.
It has to be said that makeup for won is a lengthy affair. Tang Ming had changed into his suit long ago and had been sitting in the living room for over an hour, with no signs of Liu ngting and Li Xiaoli coming out, until Liu Gaoze drove over to take them to the banquet, finally hurrying the two out from their room.
Although Liu ngting and Li Xiaoli both wore evening gowns, the thing Tang Ming feared did not occur. Liu ngting initially thought Tang Ming looked quite good in the suit, but upon hearing his words, she imdiately expressed her dissatisfaction,
"Conceited."
Liu Gaoze, who was also in the living room, chuckled and said, "Wow, Tang Ming does look handso in that suit. You better be careful at the banquet, those beauties might just pounce on you, haha."
"Dad, aren’t you running late? Let’s get going."
Liu ngting muttered under her breath.
Liu Gaoze chuckled and said, "Right, let’s hurry and get in the car, the driver is waiting outside."
The group exited and boarded Liu Gaoze’s luxurious limousine. Liu ngting and Li Xiaoli were still arguing about what jewelry matched their outfits best, while Tang Ming turned to Liu Gaoze sitting beside him and asked, "Uncle, did you use the card I gave you at the auction?"
"Oh, I didn’t use the money, but it’s all in the company account now, can’t withdraw it imdiately. Do you need money urgently?"
Liu Gaoze curiously asked.
Out of options, Tang Ming said with a wry smile, "Not urgently, just give it to whenever you have it."
The limousine drove for over half an hour and arrived at the entrance of the Jun Tianhao Hotel, which was decorated splendidly. Many beautiful won in cheongsam and nurous waitstaff, all there to serve at tonight’s banquet, stood at the entrance.
The banquet was being held on the third floor of the hotel. Liu Gaoze, along with a few assistants and the three of them, went in, signed their nas at the registration, and then entered the venue of the banquet.
The expansive banquet hall was carpeted entirely with high-grade wool, and in each of the four corners, Western bands were playing light music suitable for the banquet’s ambiance. Amidst the slow music, guests chatted and laughed, holding their wine glasses high.
Regardless of whether they knew each other, everyone at the banquet naturally appeared courteous, polite, and refined.
Along the sides of the hall were long tables laden with desserts, beverages, and a variety of international delicacies in a buffet style, so waitstaff continually brought more dishes and refilled beverages.
Upon entering the hall, Tang Ming had no interest in the music or the beauties. Instead, the diverse array of delicious desserts on the tables caught his eye, and he rubbed his hands together, eager to dive in.
Liu Gaoze led them, casually taking a glass of champagne from a waiter and glanced around the hall.
Under Liu Fei’s reminder, Liu Gaoze saw several partners with whom he would be collaborating, so he turned to Tang Ming and the others and said, "You young folks find your own places to have fun, I’m going to et with so business partners."
"Oh, okay."

Li Xiaoli stuck out her tongue and followed the other two towards the northwest corner of the hall, where there was a row of sofas and a long table nearby, laden with various kinds of food and drinks.
No sooner had they found a place to sit than Tang Ming spoke up, "You guys rest here, I’ll go grab sothing to eat."
"Oh."
Liu ngting subconsciously responded.
Suddenly, Li Xiaoli smacked her forehead and exclaid in surprise, "Oh no, how could we let Brother Tang Ming go get food by himself?"
"Right."
Only then did Liu ngting rember Tang Ming’s appetite and stood up with a startled shout.
Although Liu ngting wasn’t as concerned about appearances as Li Xiaoli, at such a party, if Tang Ming were to eat excessively, they would be mortally embarrassed. They simply couldn’t afford to lose face here, letting others know that the Liu family had a glutton—that would be utterly humiliating.

Liu ngting also spoke with imnse frustration, "If worse cos to worst, we’ll just pretend not to know him later on, to avoid being embarrassed with him."
"Guess that’s the only choice."
Li Xiaoli sat down resignedly.
Tang Ming was feasting heartily at the long table, his eyes gleaming. It must be said that the desserts were very tasty, and the flavors of the seafood were also quite good; the more he ate, the more he feared others would compete with him. He began quickly loading his plate with food, soon piling it impressively high.
