With full confidence, Su Xiaoxi declared, waving her hand.
Seeing a familiar face, Tang Ming’s anger subsided by half, and he shook his head disbelievingly, "You count as a high-class lady? A fool, more likely."

Su Xiaoxi pouted, clearly displeased.

Unconvinced, Su Xiaoxi said, intending to prove her own worth to Tang Ming.

"Accompany you? Doing what? Shopping? Watching a movie? Or eating?"
Su Xiaoxi blinked innocently as she asked.

Tang Ming teased with a chuckle.

Su Xiaoxi’s face turned red as she spat out a sentence.
Tang Ming didn’t bother with her and continued to eat, intending to finish off the delicious food in front of him.
Su Xiaoxi, out of options, thought for a mont before saying, "Stop joking around with . You’re not the type to take advantage of girls."

Seeing Su Xiaoxi looking pitiful, and considering that she usually treated him quite well, Tang Ming said, "Go and get so more food. If you do well, I’ll help you out again for free."
"Okay, I’ll go right now. I promise to do a good job."
Su Xiaoxi bounced with joy and then quickly headed towards the long table.
At this ti, another beautiful woman in the hall was looking around. She had just arrived in the hall, and her female companion had disappeared, leaving Lin Xue searching everywhere until she finally spotted Su Xiaoxi from behind.
Lin Xue recognized her instantly because of her unique evening gown and imdiately went over. She grabbed Su Xiaoxi, who was piling food onto a plate, and asked, "Xiaoxi, what happened to you? You disappeared in the blink of an eye, and I’ve been all over looking for you."
"Oh, sorry, Sister Lin Xue. I just ran into my boyfriend and was helping him get so food," Su Xiaoxi pouted as she spoke.
Lin Xue was shocked to hear this and asked in surprise, "Your boyfriend? When did you get a boyfriend?"

Su Xiaoxi glanced around furtively and whispered, "I see quite a few suspicious people here who might be robbers. Sister Lin Xue, go take a look."

Lin Xue took Su Xiaoxi’s suggestion seriously but still reminded her.

After shaking off Lin Xue, Su Xiaoxi continued to load up on food. She knew Tang Ming’s appetite well and understood that she needed to take plenty—after all, the food was free and it would be a waste not to eat it.
The reception was a gathering place for so big rchants in Songlan City, and the police leadership, worried about any incidents, had arranged for officers like Lin Xue to co in and ensure the event’s security.
As soon as Lin Xue walked away, Sun Zhuangjia appeared in his white suit. The man loved to show off; his choice of attire for receptions was always eye-catching as if nobody knew him, which was rather sad.
"Xiaoxi, can you really eat all that food?"
Seeing Su Xiaoxi struggling with her plate, Sun Zhuangjia tried to help her.
Su Xiaoxi quickly dodged Sun Zhuangjia’s hand and glared at him, "None of your business. Get out of my way."
"Hehe."
Sun Zhuangjia was rebuked and laughed to cover his embarrassnt.
Carrying the plates, Su Xiaoxi hurried toward where Tang Ming was seated, with Sun Zhuangjia trailing behind, curious about why Su Xiaoxi was carrying so much food. When he saw Tang Ming, who was sitting ahead and eating, Sun Zhuangjia’s face turned ashen.
"Not this bastard again."
Sun Zhuangjia cursed under his breath.
Just as Su Xiaoxi reached Tang Ming, he suddenly sneezed, then asked irritably, "Who’s talking behind my back?"
When he turned around and saw Su Xiaoxi standing there, Tang Ming glared at her, "It wasn’t you, was it?"
"How could it be ?"
Su Xiaoxi narrowed her eyes into slits like a kitten and smiled slightly as she put down the plate, "You’re agreeing to help , I’m too grateful to say anything bad behind your back. But I can’t say the sa for the guy behind , hehehe."
Hearing Su Xiaoxi’s words, Tang Ming frowned and looked behind her, only to see Sun Zhuangjia, that fellow, in a white suit, holding a flute glass and walking over with elegance.
