"So what do you need to do for you?"
Lin Canghai suddenly lost interest.
"I have a peripheral mber of your Dark Group here. I want you to help out, upgrade him a bit, and make him an inner mber,"
Tang Ming explained.
"Helping soone else, not that you want to join the Dark Group, huh?"
Lin Canghai said indistinctly, "This is tough to handle, just randomly promoting a peripheral mber without any contribution, that’s not easy for to operate..."
"Tough or not, you have to do it. This man is not just anybody, he happens to be my fiancée’s father, that reason should suffice, right?"
Tang Ming asked with a smile.
"Your fiancée’s father? Pfft... you could have just said your future father-in-law! Okay then, as long as it’s related to you, I can manage it. Tell his na."
Once Lin Canghai thought about the man’s relationship with Tang Ming and that he could also pull Tang Ming into the Dark Group through him in the future, he agreed without a second thought, seeing it as a great opportunity.
"His na is Liu Gaoze, from Songlan City,"
Tang Ming replied.
"Liu Gaoze, isn’t that the dad of the girl you’ve been protecting?"
Lin Canghai recalled Liu ngting and imdiately asked.
"Yeah, that’s right. Why do you care so much? If you can’t manage it, don’t contact anymore."
Tang Ming said discontentedly.
"Fine, you’re the boss. I guarantee I’ll get it done for you,"
Lin Canghai had no choice but to agree, knowing there was nothing he could do with Tang Ming.
After reporting Liu Gaoze’s na and code number to Lin, Tang Ming hung up the phone and said, "Done, he’ll upgrade you to an inner mber."
"Really?"
Liu Gaoze was a bit stunned; was it really so easy just with a phone call? It felt almost too trivial.
"Why would I lie to you?"
Tang Ming replied, "Just wait, your organization will send you a ssage soon."
As they were talking, Liu Gaoze’s mobile phone suddenly chid with a ssage notification. He quickly picked it up to see that the ssage was all in cipher, incomprehensible to the average person, but he could understand the significance of those codes.
"Indeed, I’ve beco a core internal mber, and I’ve got my own mber code and internal network password,"
After reading the ssage and morizing it, Liu Gaoze deleted it, his face flushed with excitent. The wish he had been unable to fulfill for several years had been easily accomplished with just one call from Tang Ming, giving him the feeling that efforts to grow flowers might not bloom, but a willow planted casually might thrive.
"Glad it’s done. Now can you get so poison?"
What Tang Ming was concerned about was the poison. Without it, he couldn’t cultivate or face the upcoming troubles. Only by continuously enhancing his own strength could he handle more problems.
Why did Lin Canghai respect Tang Ming? It was only because Tang Ming’s strength far surpassed his. Thus, one’s own strength was everything. If Lin Canghai’s strength ca to overwhelmingly exceed his own in the future, he might still consider him a friend, but Tang Ming would feel embarrassed to ask him for favors.
"Getting the poison is no problem, but I can’t give you too much,"
Liu Gaoze said spiritedly, "But why didn’t you ask for it from that guy on the phone?"
In Liu Gaoze’s view, the person on the other end of the phone had much more power than him; casually granting promotions to peripheral mbers indicated at least core senior-level status.
"How strong it is isn’t the key, the key is the potency must be fierce, and ordinary stuff is of no use to . As for seeking him out... every ti I do, he wants to join their organization. Once or twice is okay, but over ti, I can’t deal with it..."
Tang Ming recalled his trip to the dicinal herb market to sweep goods. He didn’t know how long it would take for the market to restock the supplies for those Poisonous Scorpions and centipedes after his last sweep.
It was the weekend the next day. When Liu ngting woke up, she let out a loud cry of "Wow," and then muttered:
"It’s almost ten o’clock, Xiaoli, why didn’t you wake up?"
As soon as she finished speaking, Liu ngting sprang up, sat on the edge of the bed, and turned her head to see Li Xiaoli lying on the other side, her forehead covered with sweat, her pillow damp, and her little face flushed and looking very haggard.
"Xiaoli, are you feeling unwell?"
Liu ngting was startled and quickly reached out to touch Li Xiaoli’s forehead; indeed, it was frighteningly hot, and she said urgently, "You’re burning up, you have a fever."
"Sister ng ng, I feel really awful."
Li Xiaoli’s voice was very low and weak.
"Then I’ll take you to the hospital." Liu ngting hastily threw back the covers and saw the extrely revealing state of Li Xiaoli, who was wearing only a tube top and underwear, not even pajamas.
Li Xiaoli had a great figure, with ample curves in all the right places. She was the kind of presence that could make both n and won blush. But she was always careful, at least wearing clothes to sleep, yet now she was completely playing the ga of naked temptation.
"Xiaoli, when did you take off your clothes while you were sleeping?"

Li Xiaoli didn’t respond. Liu ngting looked at the floor and saw a set of pajamas and pajama pants that hadn’t been there before. It beca clear that in the middle of the night, Li Xiaoli, feeling feverish and uncomfortable, must have been too hot and thus had taken off her pajamas and pants.
"I need to get her dressed before calling soone. I’ll have to ask Tang Ming to carry her downstairs, as I can’t manage on my own."
Liu ngting said to herself, then picked up the pajamas and pants from the floor, preparing to dress Li Xiaoli before calling Tang Ming for help.
"Sister ng ng, this is so embarrassing. I must look terrible right now. Don’t call the doctor over, just get so fever dicine and I’ll be fine."
Li Xiaoli spoke weakly, still concerned about her dignity even in such a state.
"No, we have to go to the hospital and see what’s wrong. Randomly taking dicine can make things worse, and you must listen to on this."
Liu ngting was very decided, picking up the pajamas and pants, insisting on dressing Li Xiaoli, and then she ran straight out of the room.
"Tang Ming, co to the third floor."
Liu ngting, in her pajamas but not revealing anything, looked very cute as she called out from the top of the stairs to the second floor.
In the villa, though there were many servants, she now preferred to ask Tang Ming for help. After spending such a long ti together, there was at least an added sense of trust.
"The third floor?"
Tang Ming, having just cleaned up, heard Liu ngting’s voice, opened his door, and poked his head out to ask, "Isn’t the third floor off-limits for ?"
If I’m telling you to co up, co up. There’s no need for all this fuss, hurry up."
Having said that, Liu ngting ran straight back to the room, worried about Li Xiaoli.
Tang Ming dressed slowly in his room, pondering. The third floor was always off-limits to him. Why was Liu ngting suddenly calling him up early this morning? Could it be a trap?
Liu ngting sat by the bed, looking at the distressed Li Xiaoli, and asked with concern, "Xiaoli, did you catch a cold yesterday? Why did you suddenly spike a fever?"
