IT WAS probably past midnight when Wonhee woke up.
Yejun, who had just finished taking a shower and changing into his pajamas, finally joined her in bed after a long day.
"I’m ho, Wonhee-ya."
"Welco back," Wonhee said sleepily. "How was your eting with the #2 World Ranker?"
"Oh. Did Soobin Hyung tell you?"
"Yeah. Am I not supposed to know?"
"No, it’s not like that. I just didn’t want you to worry about it," Yejun explained. "N was only here to enjoy a quiet vacation. Apparently, he saw tanghulu trending in our country, so he went all his way here just to have so."
The #2 World Ranker was really eccentric, huh?
[According to Soobin Oppa, the #2 went to Vietnam just to have so Pho.]
"The #2 must be a foodie then," Wonhee said, nodding. Then she paused for a mont and touched her stomach. "I suddenly craved tanghulu."
Yejun suddenly laughed. "I knew you’d say that, so I brought so for you. They’re in my Inventory, so they’re still kinda fresh."
"Really?"
"Really, so let’s get up," Yejun said, standing first before offering his hand to her. "Where should we eat?"
They ended up going to the dining hall to have so midnight snacks.
Wonhee was happy that Yejun brought different types of candied fruits: strawberries, grapes, oranges, kiwi, and blueberries.
[This is gonna break my diet, but I’ll just consider today as a cheat day.]
Hence, she enjoyed her orange tanghulu without feeling guilty.
And then she rembered sothing important.
"Yejunnie~"
"I’ll kiss you if you call by my childhood pet na again, Wonhee-ya~"
Wonhee rolled her eyes at Yejun’s teasing. "I sent a ssage to your parents after you collapsed."
Yejun almost choked on his strawberry tanghulu. "You’re in touch with my parents?"
"We exchanged contact info after our first eting."
"You’re doing great as a daughter-in-law, Wonhee-ya."
"Hwang Yejun."
He just shrugged and motioned for her to continue.
And so she did.
"They were worried about you, but they weren’t able to visit because they said they were in the middle of the sea," Wonhee said worriedly. "Apparently, they were trying to catch a big fish."
"Yeah, I know. The triplets, too."
"They sounded busy, but I can tell that they were really worried about you, Yejun-ah. Bit I assured them that the System only summoned you."
"Uh-huh."
"Really.
Yejun suddenly burst out laughing.
"What’s funny?" Wonhee complained lightly. "It’s true."
"Wonhee-ya, are you trying to convince that my parents care about ?"
"They do. And I know that you know that, too. But I don’t want you to feel hurt or sad after knowing that your parents couldn’t co and visit you..."
"It’s not a big deal, you know?" Yejun said, shrugging. "You don’t have to feel sad for , Wonhee-ya. There’s a feature in my Status Window that sends a signal to my parents if I’m in a serious situation. It only gets activated when I’m half-dead, so I’m sure my parents knew that I wasn’t in danger. Hence, they decided to finish their job instead of coming ho to check on . It’s not like their presence would help wake up."
"Oh, I see."
"Rest assured, if I was in a serious situation, my parents would drop everything to co and get — just like that they did when I went on a rampage a year ago."
Only then did Wonhee smile. "That’s a relief."
He chuckled while shaking his head. "My parents are lucky to have you as their daughter-in-law, Wonhee-ya."
"Hwang Yejun, don’t be delusional."
He just shrugged.
[Which reminds ...]
"Why did the System summon you?" Wonhee asked carefully. "You fainted after you touched Yool’s diaries."
"The System wants to convince you to sacrifice Gong Yool."
Okay, that made her lose her appetite.
[This is so upsetting.]
"Apparently, the System also needs the information that Gong Yool possessed from the other world," Yejun explained. "But don’t cry, Wonhee-ya. I turned the tables."
"What do you an by that?"
"I asked the System to bring Gong Yool’s original body here instead of bringing back Gong Yool to his original world. Apparently, the information that Gong Yool lost is stored in his original body."
"Is that possible?"
"The System said they will try their best to do that," Yejun said, and then he gently patted Wonhee’s hand. "So, Wonhee-ya. Since you’re lucky and the universe listens to you, why don’t you pray that the System succeeds in bringing Gong Yool’s original body here?"
That was really a relief to know.
"Okay, I will do that," Wonhee said, smiling while nodding eagerly. "Thank you for convincing the System to try a different option that sacrificing my best friend, Yejun-ah."
"Anything for you, Wonhee-ya~"

[GOOD MORNING, GUIDE CHU WONHEE!]
Hmm?
Wonhee was greeted by her Status Window as soon as she opened her eyes.
[Since it’s all caps, it must be Tannie.]
She was too sleepy to react, so she just ended up reading the long ssage in silence.
[CONGRATULATIONS!
Guide Chu Wonhee has finally completed Hunter Hwang Yejun’s Guiding Therapy!]
Oh, right.
Wonhee’s task was to give Yejun his daily eight-hour of sleep for a whole month.
But...
"Hasn’t it been over a month already since then?"
Wonhee only whispered, but Yejun imdiately opened his eyes even though he was deep asleep a mont ago.
"Did you say sothing, Wonhee-ya?"
"Let finish reading the System’s ssage first."
"Mmkay."
Wonhee then raised her head and continued reading the System’s ssage.
[YOU’RE RIGHT! It has been two months since you received the mission! But there are plenty of tis when you and Hunter Hwang Yejun had to be separated!]
Right.
There was a ti when Yejun had to use his for almost a week because he was locked up in a dungeon.
[Hence, the System extended the mission to compensate for those tis!]
"Really?" Wonhee asked skeptically. "The System is so lenient towards ."
Yejun, who was lying on his stomach, laughed softly while his eyes were still closed.
[The System loves Guide Chu Wonhee!]
"Thank you."
Again, Yejun laughed even though he didn’t know why she said ’thank you.’

"The feeling is mutual," Yejun said sleepily, and then he opened his eyes. "What did that little rascal say?"
Wonhee turned to Yejun with a smile. "We don’t need to sleep together anymore, Yejun-ah."
