Sowhere, on the flat roof of a high building, Bai Ningxue was busy contacting her teacher. However, she had learned from her previous experience that she was not at a level high enough to witness her Teacher’s true form.

"Oh? Well that’s to be expected, silly girl!" Her Teacher rolled his eyes with a small smile on his face. "Do you really think a person with a fragnt of immortality would be normal? Let tell you, that fellow is still an ordinary mortal, even."
Bai Ningxue had her heart violently shudder in her chest. "Teacher... He’s a mortal?!"
"Indeed. As a mortal, he has unalived two Second Level True Arcanist rank Warlocks by himself," The corners of her Teacher’s lips curled up into a smile...
Ugh, no! It was a smirk! Cool guys don’t smile, they smirk!
Anyways, he smirked and folded his hands. "While a certain soone still does not dare drink her advancent potion."
Bai Ningxue instantly lowered her head.

Bai Ningxue raised a brow and looked at her. "Teacher?? What happened?"
She had grown up seeing that look and knew exactly what it ant.
Her Teacher had found sothing interesting!
"Soone is here. Soone I used to know a long, long ti ago." Her Teacher had a profound look on his face as he gazed into the distance.
"Ohh?" Her eyes brightened with surprise. "Another immortal??"
The more immortals her Teacher found and conquered, the more he could recover.
If he recovered completely and beca unparalleled under the heavens, would she have any issues with advancing to immortality herself?

"Yes. It is another immortal." Her Teacher nodded his head. He adjusted his glasses on his nose and made it refract a cold light as the corners of his lips curled up into a smirk. "But this immortal is soone who even I do not dare go against."
"Wow..." Bai Ningxue’s eyes widened. In her mind, her teacher was the pinnacle of strength, even if he was grievously injured!
Then, she frowned. "Will there be a problem as that person is here, Teacher?"
In this modern era, the remaining immortals were either injured, dead, or in hiding.
If one of those immortals who had gone into hiding were to suddenly pop up, did that not an trouble for the ordinary mortals?

"Hmm?" Bai Ningxue asked in confusion as she tilted her head slightly. "Why is that, Teacher?"
"That is because that person carries within her a treasure that the heavens would never allow to exist." Her Teacher shook his head. "As she has appeared, people surely will co seeking her out. If I myself were not injured, I would have gone to seek her out too."
"Hmm?" Bai Ningxue raised a brow. "Why, Teacher?"
"Heh." Her Teacher shook his head and let out a small laugh. He changed the topic and gave her a smirk. "Imagine if there were potion formulas and advancent rituals that would ensure your successful advancent by a hundred percent. Would you like it?"
Her eyes brightened and she nodded her head vigorously. "Yes, Teacher!"
A guide complete with potion formulas and advancent rituals would save hundreds of Witches, Sorcerers, Warlocks, Mages and Wizards from death due to failed advancents.
Advancent potions were usually concocted from one’s intuition and a single mistake would cause the whole thing to fail.
The worst part of it all was that a failed advancent potion and a successful one were no different in look, or texture, could not be divinated, and had no way of identification.
So one would not even have the slightest idea whether their potion had failed or not!
Bai Ningxue thought a bit, and her excitent dimd as she shook her head. "But nothing of the sort exists, right, Teacher?"
If such a cheat like object existed, would everyone not be unparalleled under the heavens?
"What do you think that person carries?" Her Teacher smirked again.
Bai Ningxue’s eyes widened in shock and surprise. "Holy sh*t!"
