Borzoi moved first.
The mont that dragon-like roar exploded from Maxwell’s body, Borzoi no longer held back. The dangerous feeling crawling across his skin had already reached a point where even his instincts scread at him nonstop.
Kill him.
Kill him now.
His muscles swelled further as his third phase Berserk Mode surged violently through his body. The veins across his red skin bulged like twisted roots while heat poured from him continuously. The ground beneath his feet shattered apart every ti he stepped.
Then—
Boom!
Borzoi appeared before Maxwell once more.
His remaining arm swung forward with terrifying force.
The air burst apart from the sheer pressure behind the attack alone.
Yet—
Maxwell raised his arm.
Bang!!!
The collision exploded loudly.
Borzoi’s eyes widened instantly.
Blocked?
His punch—
Was blocked.
Not redirected.
Not avoided.
Blocked directly.
Maxwell’s scaled arm trembled slightly from the impact, but it held.
The golden scales covering his skin glowed brightly while cracks spread beneath his feet from the force pressing downward.
For the first ti since their battle began—
Borzoi’s expression changed completely.
Shock.
Real shock.
Maxwell slowly lifted his head.
His eyes no longer looked fully human now.
Golden slit pupils stared directly at Borzoi while faint dragon scales continued spreading across his neck and cheeks.
Then—
Maxwell smiled.
It was not confident.
Not calm.
It looked savage.
Like sothing enjoying violence.
Borzoi imdiately pulled his arm back and kicked toward Maxwell’s ribs.
Boom!
Maxwell defended again.
This ti using both arms.
The kick still sent him sliding backward across the ground, carving a long trench behind him, but he remained standing.
Borzoi imdiately chased after him.
Boom!
Boom!
Boom!
His punches ca nonstop now.
Faster.
Heavier.
More violent than before.
Each strike carried enough force to crush boulders into dust instantly.
Yet Maxwell kept defending.
So attacks slipped through.
So still hit his body directly.
Blood continued spilling from Maxwell’s mouth.
But unlike before—
He no longer looked helpless.
Then suddenly—
Maxwell disappeared.
Borzoi’s instincts exploded.
He turned instantly—
Too late.
Boom!!!
A scaled fist slamd directly into his stomach.
Borzoi’s entire body bent violently from the impact.
His eyes widened.
Before he could react—
Another strike ca crashing into his jaw.
Bang!
Then another toward his ribs.
Boom!
Then another.
And another.
Maxwell’s attacks exploded nonstop now like a storm of wild destruction. Unlike Borzoi’s brutal direct fighting style, Maxwell’s current attacks looked crazed and animalistic, almost as though a dragon itself had taken control of his body.
Borzoi blocked one strike—
Only for another to slam into his shoulder imdiately afterward.
He kicked Maxwell backward—
But Maxwell instantly returned with another punch toward his face.
Boom!
Blood splattered.
Borzoi staggered slightly.
His eyes widened again.
What the hell happened to him?
Maxwell roared once more.
The dragon shadow behind him beca clearer again.
Massive golden wings spread behind the illusion while its eyes glowed with terrifying fury overhead.
Then Maxwell attacked harder.
His scales scraped against Borzoi’s body with every collision, leaving bloody wounds repeatedly.
Borzoi punched Maxwell directly across the face.
Maxwell answered by slamming his forehead into Borzoi’s nose.
Crack!
Blood erupted instantly.
Borzoi stumbled backward slightly.
Then Maxwell grabbed his arm.
Borzoi imdiately tried pulling away—
Too slow.
Boom!!!
Maxwell slamd him directly into the ground.
The earth exploded apart.
Before Borzoi could recover, Maxwell punched downward repeatedly like a beast tearing apart prey.
Boom!
Boom!
Boom!
Every strike shook the battlefield violently.
Borzoi crossed his arm desperately to defend while blood splattered continuously from the impacts.
Pain spread across his body rapidly now.
Real pain.
Not annoyance.
Not irritation.
Pain.
His skin remained red from Berserk Mode.
His muscles still bulged with monstrous strength.
Yet Maxwell’s attacks continued getting stronger.
Stronger.
And stronger.
Borzoi finally exploded upward violently, forcing Maxwell away with a brutal shoulder slam.
Boom!
The two separated instantly.
Both breathing heavily now.
Steam poured from Borzoi’s body while blood dripped from multiple wounds across his skin.
anwhile Maxwell stood several ters away, golden aura erupting wildly around him while dragon scales now covered nearly half his body.
His breathing sounded rough.
Animalistic.
Almost like growling.
Borzoi stared at him silently.
Then spat blood onto the ground.
"...You annoying bastard."
Maxwell imdiately charged again.
Borzoi roared and t him head-on.
Boom!!!
Their fists collided directly.
Shockwaves exploded outward violently, flattening the surrounding grasslands completely.
The ground beneath them collapsed from the pressure alone.
Then they vanished.
Boom!
Boom!
Boom!
The battlefield exploded nonstop as the two monsters exchanged attacks at terrifying speed. Every collision shook the land while pieces of earth flew everywhere like explosions.
Maxwell’s attacks beca increasingly savage.
Knees.
Claws.
Headbutts.
Punches.
Even biting.
anwhile Borzoi answered with pure brutality.
His remaining arm smashed into Maxwell repeatedly while his kicks tore apart the earth itself.
At one point Borzoi grabbed Maxwell and slamd him through multiple trees violently.
But Maxwell erged imdiately afterward and tackled him straight through a rocky hill.
Dust exploded everywhere.
Blood sprayed continuously.
Neither backed down.
Neither retreated.
Yet slowly—
The balance began changing.
Borzoi noticed it first.
His attacks—
Were becoming less effective.
anwhile Maxwell’s strikes continued growing stronger every minute.
Another punch slamd into Borzoi’s chest.
Crack!
His ribs shook painfully.
Then another strike landed against his shoulder.
Then another toward his side.
Boom!
Borzoi coughed blood this ti.
Maxwell appeared before him again instantly.
Too fast.
Borzoi barely defended before Maxwell’s kick slamd into his arm and shattered the ground beneath him completely.
Bang!!!
Pain shot through Borzoi’s body.
His eyes widened.
This bastard...
Maxwell attacked again rcilessly.
No pauses.
No hesitation.
Only destruction.
Borzoi finally retaliated with a devastating punch toward Maxwell’s face.
Maxwell blocked it directly again.
Then twisted Borzoi’s arm violently before slamming his scaled elbow into Borzoi’s jaw.
Boom!
Borzoi flew backward this ti.
Actually flew backward.
His body rolled violently across the destroyed battlefield before crashing through several massive rocks.
Dust rose everywhere.
For several seconds—
Silence.
Then—
Boom!
Borzoi erged from the rubble breathing heavily.
Blood dripped from his mouth continuously now.
His red skin flickered slightly.
His Berserk Mode remained active—
But unstable.
anwhile Maxwell slowly walked forward through the dust.
Golden eyes glowing.
Dragon scales spreading further.
Pressure pouring from him endlessly.
Borzoi stared at him.
Then slowly laughed.
Not because he found it funny.
But because realization had finally hit him.
This continent really was insane.
First—
A monster like Young Warchief.
Now—
This.
Borzoi clenched his remaining fist tightly.
For the first ti in a very long while—
He genuinely felt death approaching.
His instincts scread louder than ever before.
And deep inside—
A single thought surfaced clearly.
I might actually die here.
His grin slowly widened despite the blood covering his face.
Then he looked at Maxwell again.
"...This continent..."
He coughed blood heavily.
"...really is full of hidden monsters."
