"How long?" she asked.
"I don't know, depends on luck." Xu Xiaoyou said casually, as she tossed the Hundred-sided Dice onto the ground. The durability of the Life and Death Boundary was left with only two uses. If neither rolled above 50, it would be Ga Over.
She planned to first roll the Hundred-sided Dice. In the 51-60 range, there were benefits like "next roll increases the chance of Xiaoji or higher". Between 70-82, there's a chance for a direct Skill Card boost, and if she rolled 100, she'd solve the current crisis even without the Life and Death Boundary.
Before rolling the dice, she decided to draw today's fortune!

The conch shell-shaped inspirations fell from the sky one by one, hitting Angelina's head with a clunking sound.
"Damn it, they all fell to the ground." Xu Xiaoyou groaned in exasperation, continuing to roll the Hundred-sided Dice.
Veins bulged on Angelina's forehead, she took a deep breath, threw the Abyssal White Flower, shattering the wall ahead, then turned back, her spear slicing swiftly like a blade. The brick wall behind her exploded, burying the chasing Fishn beneath, Xu Xiaoyou activated the Explosive Energy Trap, causing the entire corridor to collapse.
Mad Fishn continuously fell into the blown-out hole, consud by the rising flas.
While passing the window side, they noticed a bizarre phenonon: the outside of the manor was replaced by a vast lake, like a massive mirror extending to the horizon, with the Withered Flower family's manor perched on the mountainside; the tides have subrged the entire island. The torrential rain continued, pouring not from the sky but ascending from the lake surface, forming an upward-flowing rain curtain.
The Fishn bathed in this reversed rain curtain, their bodies fully imrsed in the water. They spotted countless black dots afar; those were Fishn whose limbs had mutated into more twisted forms.
"Anya, ahead!" Xu Xiaoyou cried out a warning.
Angelina looked forward, the Siren King's phantasmal body crashing through the wall, half of the creature's body fused with the wall, hiding Fishn within it, who poked their heads out, leaping out simultaneously, throwing their weapons.
A new roll result erged, Xu Xiaoyou used the enhanced Dense Fire Net to obliterate all charging Fishn into limbs and flesh, tossing an Explosive Energy Trap, collapsing the floors beneath the Siren King, using Attack Deflection on Angelina to evade those elusive slender arms.
The long arm Angelina dragged continued biting into her back, the wound deep enough to expose bone, nearly reaching her spine. Once these long arms touched her body, they clung tightly like maggots, and her attacks proved ineffective, unable to cast them off, forced to let them feast on her flesh.
Holding Xu Xiaoyou tightly, Angelina turned into a corner, the nobles who fled were long gone, having been ruthlessly dismbered by frenzied Fishn at the very onset of the disaster.
The excruciating pain clinging to her bones overwheld her senses, her already frail body felt weighed down like being filled with lead, shackled, dragging iron balls behind, consciousness turning drowsy. Deep shadows constantly passed them, the crystal chandeliers on the ceiling swayed like a hypnotic pendulum, bright red blood dripped onto the wool carpet below; in such circumstances, she must remain wary of the Siren King's imminent attacks.
In the seemingly endless tension, their footsteps echoed throughout the labyrinthine corridor, Angelina shielded the girl in her arms with her body from incoming harpoons, poisoned blood-covered iron sand bullets; fractured Divine Gifts made her physical resilience not much better than Xu Xiaoyou's.
The Siren King's pale arms reached out simultaneously from all corners of the corridor, Xu Xiaoyou tid her reaction, utilizing Attack Deflection on Angelina, as those arms phased through the girl, extending outward.
Yet one arm remained lurking in the shadows, like a snake stalking its prey, darted out like lightning, its target not Angelina, but the blonde girl in her embrace!
Angelina responded swiftly, lifting her leg to block the attack for Xu Xiaoyou, and the twenty-first roll result ca out

Upon seeing this number, Xu Xiaoyou instantly called out, "Anya, get away!"
"Misfortune: Master-Devouring Spirit Blade!"
Angelina's pupils contracted, behind them a scarlet void fissure appeared, blood-red playful eyes twisted, countless sharp shadows whooshing from the void, targeting Xu Xiaoyou's forehead, carotid artery, and heart simultaneously shooting forth.
Angelina instinctively reacted, she half-kneeled, tightly holding and protecting the blonde girl in her arms.
Bright red dripped onto Xu Xiaoyou's eyelashes, spreading out as she opened her eyes, seeing Angelina's pale complexion, the silver-haired girl's mouth oozing blood, limbs and back dragged by biting long arms, like a sinner chained in countless shackles, struggling to breathe, with every cough carrying blood.
Angelina lifted her body, creating so space between herself and the girl.
"I shouldn't have co back for you at the beginning." Angelina said, feigning lightheartedness, "Let you experience what being abandoned feels like, it's quite amusing to think about..."
"Anya, Anya?"
Xu Xiaoyou stroked the silver-haired girl's cheek, her eyes closing then reopening a slit, the dust-covered eyes exceptionally calm, like a weary red crystal.
