It seed as if an ancient voice thundered in the ears of the wizards, with every cell sounding an alarm, urging them to flee.
They retreated, seeing the girl with dark long hair approaching them in the darkness, her right hand holding a silver-blue string sword, and her left clutching "Popeya's Coronation," an instrunt resembling a cello, to her chest, with her skirt flaring like a newly blossod flower.
Petals and the girl's face were stained with blood; she brought death and repose, singing a lullaby that her mother used to hum beside her bed, enacting a drama nad death wherever she walked.
Pure white flower vines twined around Sevia's fingertips, clear blue spirals resonating along the strings. The instrunt morphed into any shape, the girl's eyes dispensing death without rcy, yet tenderly offering the dead compassion.
The last trace of consciousness among the deceased yearned for a wondrous lody, and "Popeya's Coronation" would perform a special composition before their souls—perhaps a violin, a flute, or possibly a piano—granting people a peaceful demise.
All the defensive power was futile against Sevia; she destroyed everything.
When she unleashed her power, no one in this kingdom could stop her path.
She was the "Starry Singer," the daughter of the stars, the witch feared by people under the starry sky.
The throne was empty, with the awaited demigod guarding before it, opening its eyes in the pitch-darkness. Her aura was so weak, yet it seed as if lava was bursting from her eye sockets, with raging electric light spewing with her breath, the fus turning to a steam-humming hiss through the mask.
"Stranger, halt here." The female general raised her double-bladed spear, aiming it straight at Sevia's face.
"What are you protecting?" Sevia looked up, her bright eyes reflecting the tall figure of the woman.
"Are you guarding the bedside of a terminal illness patient?"
"Or are you yourself that incurable terminal illness patient?"
"The terminal illness patients of this kingdom—are they the ignorant fools, the innocent longing for redemption, or the greedy warden and incompetent king, or is it you?"
"The fanatically loyal and obsessed watcher."
"What traps you is not the high walls; it is you who imprison yourself in the cage."
"Tall people, why are you obsessed with returning ho?"
"For the azure sky, for the vast prairie?"
"For the clean lakes, or for the stories told by the stove to future generations?"
"Your arms can cradle the weight of a thousand-ton boulder to build a new house on the wastelands."
"Your physique is sturdy enough, with the holand's breeze always accompanying you, allowing travel to serene pastures and gaining new insights on the journey."
"The past that can't be let go, why not try to carry it on your new journey until the confusion is cleared?"
"The unbreakable shadow must be severed."
...
Oasis, Royal Palace.
Boiling black clouds churned in the flas, shadows from the sky descended upon the earth.
Smoke arose all around, the double-bladed spear piercing through the mist, its poisonous blade pointing directly at everyone's faces. They were all stunned when they saw the twisted tall figure.
"The 'Kingdom's Watcher'!?"
The simultaneous presence of two world bosses increased the pressure on everyone present, and so barely reacted before the sharp double-bladed spear pierced through their chests, their bodies swelling grotesquely.
The female general fell into a frenzied state, wielding the double-bladed spear, green poison water gushing from her body, rampaging within the royal palace, while players unable to avoid her were instantly reduced to a mist of blood; their skin would rot and decay upon contact with the poison.
"Dodge!" Bai Youyou rushed forward, holding Osiris in one hand, the steam hamr morphing to heavily strike the female general's heavy armor, forcibly intercepting her.
The double-bladed spear and heavy hamr collided continuously, the splashing poison evaporating into vapor before it could approach the dark-haired girl, extinguished by the girl's divine gift.
Bai Youyou swung the hamr in a wide arc, hitting the female general's massive body squarely, sending her crashing into the wall like a cannonball, with massive damage numbers popping up.
However, the female general's animosity wasn't drawn to the girl, as her madness remained undiminished, the surrounding black aura as real as an evil ghost, charging at a player attempting to approach the "Crown of Incurable" the instant she broke free from the wall.
The player, intending to pocket the kill, was struck with horror upon seeing the swiftly approaching tall figure, and in the next mont, was decapitated.
The half-arc cut by the double-bladed spear sprayed blood, the female general roaring, saliva dripping from her helm's cleft, all hearing her murmurs clearly.
"Promise..."
"Holand..."
"Tulatan..."
These words were ant for the one on the throne to hear.
The "Crown of Incurable" made no response, maintaining a seated posture.
The "Kingdom's Watcher" guarded the throne with her spear, shielding her king, blocking all covetous gazes.
The sudden appearance of another world boss completely disrupted the Order Court's offensive rhythm, with the "Crown of Incurable" on the throne left with less than fifteen thousand HP, its aura perilously declining.
At this mont, the elite forces of other grand guilds outside the royal palace arrived, with the notion of alliance oaths long discarded as aningless; heart and mind inherently differ for those not of our kin, so past promises were irrelevant, and upon encounter, it was a bombardnt of skills.
The chaos on the scene intensified once more, with people's shouts during battle, monsters' roars, and various skill strikes, causing Xu Xiaoyou to cover her ears in frustration. Were it not for being handcuffed to the girl beside her, she would have sought a quiet spot to escape the noise.
When the "Crown of Incurable" HP fell below 20%, the "Kingdom's Watcher" entered a state known as 'Heart of Fanatical Devotion,' tripling all attributes, with strength nearing 700, even able to face Bai Youyou's unleashed divine gift head-on.
Bai Youyou attempted to approach the "Crown of Incurable," but the female general would madly pounce at her, entangling her in combat, standing up ti and again after being repelled—more troubleso than clingy plaster.
Whenever soone tried to get close to the throne, the female general would imdiately disengage, charging towards the throne's direction.
Repeating this cycle multiple tis, the Order Court was simply unable to deal with the "Crown of Incurable" on the throne.
Bai Youyou wiped the dust from her face, noticing Xu Xiaoyou nearby, her voice cold:
"You seem to have it easy?"
Xu Xiaoyou: "It's because you're doing such a good job protecting , Youyou, that those Silent Sequence people don't dare make a move."
Bai Youyou: "So, you're a hundred percent confident about claiming the 'Crown of Incurable's first kill, aren't you?"
"Pretty much, I can guarantee no one can snatch the first kill from my hands." Xu Xiaoyou shrugged. "Whether it's the Silent Sequence or any other guilds."
"Tell ."
"No way, if I tell you, what if the Order Court people steal it? If Investigator Bai is willing to reduce my sentence, maybe I could disclose it..."
Bai Youyou, her face taut and about to say sothing, found Xu Xiaoyou placing a playful finger on her lips.
"Youyou, why is your heart siding with outsiders?"
"Think about it, you're part of the Light Chasing Garden now, aren't my things yours too?"
