Countdown for New Players to Join_3 883: 300.
Countdown for New Players to Join_3 You wouldn’t believe it, although this thing is just an enhancent of the Family Guardian suit, its striking red and gold color sche does give it a “midnight nobility” appeal that’s quite charming.
But Sister Pogranate isn’t too satisfied.
She thinks the color sche is too ostentatious and doesn’t quite fit with her preference for a low-profile and restrained style.
That complaint made Sir Morphy roll his eyes, albeit slightly.
“You’re complaining about free bread being too burnt, do you have any idea how much brainstorming I’ve had to do these past few days just to prepare your rewards?
Sigh, afterwards, I’ll have to find a clever person to take charge of these matters specifically, otherwise constantly doing everything myself just isn’t sothing that makes a vampire happy.”
With this kind of grumbling, Morphy took the lavishly decorated weapon box from Maxim’s hands and reverently handed it over to the first-place winner of the hunting competition.
Brother Cat very sensibly received it with both hands.
Then he heard Sir Morphy say to him in a gentle voice:
“You have beco a new legend across the Transia Lands, my Warrior.
Your na of valor has been sung in every corner of the night.
I know of the covenant between you, Maxim, and Kudell.
I am pleased to see that the forr Nantes Ranger has finally found a true successor.
Perhaps, are you qualified to beco the second ‘Civilian Protection Officer’ on these lands?”
“?”
Brother Cat blinked in surprise.
Although no profession tips or hidden quests were triggered, he had a feeling that Sir Morphy’s words contained a deeper aning.
Could it be that after officially joining under Lord Kudell as his Warrior, there were specific hidden professions that could be unlocked?
He contemplated this.
But the next second, he heard a cough.
Turning his head, Brother Cat saw Niu Pogranate standing beside him with her arms akimbo, coughing in a way that seed to be suggesting sothing, leaving the male Swordsman a bit helpless.
He had wanted to see for himself what the renowned warblade looked like, but now he hadn’t even had the chance to get ward up…
Sigh.
So, Brother Cat decided not to open the box to spare himself the envy and handed the luxurious weapon box to Sister Pogranate, fulfilling his private deal with Niu Pogranate.
Sister Pogranate wasted no ti with pleasantries.
Upon receiving the weapon box and under Morphy’s slightly astonished yet subtly expressive gaze, she opened it.
Imdiately, Bull Bull let out a gasp of astonishnt.
And for a good reason, the weapon was breathtakingly beautiful!
Inside the slender weapon box lay a pure black straight-edged warblade, its handle adorned with unique ebony stone at the tail end, while its rose-patterned cross-guard was quite simple yet grand.
But what really stood out was the intense “aura of the night” enveloping the warblade—a distinctly unique force that seed like a layer of night veil covering the blade.
Brother Cat’s eyes filled with regret as he clearly also admired the warblade that was now out of his reach.
But Sister Pogranate, as if intentionally teasing him, casually grasped the handle and hoisted it up…
Hmm, it didn’t budge an inch.
Awkward.
The weight of the object was clearly much heavier than it appeared to be, definitely made of a special material and possessed a very peculiar force that didn’t seem willing to be wielded by the female Swordsman before it.
Sister Pogranate looked embarrassed for a mont, then with all her might she lifted it out of the box with both hands.
Swinging it twice, the sword’s blade seed to pull strange, lingering ripples through the air, as if spreading ink on paper, making the still-fading slashes look quite peculiar and cool.
The commotion imdiately attracted the attention of the remaining onlookers, especially the Broken Sword Master and the Hundred Forging Big Horse, whose eyes widened in awe.
Sister Pogranate muttered about the astonishing weight of the blade, then proceeded with Item Identification:
Na: Cold Night·Classical Calum Battle Blade
Quality: Fine Workmanship·[Fad Blade] Domination
Trait: Undiscoverable unless unbound
Special Effect: Undiscoverable unless unbound
Requirents for Use: [Swordsman] and related occupations, Strength ≥ 20, Agility ≥ 18, Perception ≥ 18.
Creator: Night Thirty-One, Chief Swordsmith of the [Baijiang Departnt of Tiandu]
Item Description:
[During the Fourth Black Disaster, Salockdale fought alongside warriors from the Kalem Ancient Country who were Dragonborn Samurai.
This fad blade was acquired as he gathered the remains of a courageously fallen warrior after one such fierce battle.
The Blood Vulture Duke, before his descent into madness, had an appreciation for valor and did not attempt to claim this blade from the Exotic Lands of the Sword Saint for himself.
Instead, he kept it in his treasury as a rembrance of the war-torn years within that majestic era.
The peculiar power contained within this blade is appraising you…
Unfortunately,
you do not have the qualifications to wield it.]
“Is this attribute requirent for real?
And what’s with this damn job restriction…I’m not following the path of a swordsman, which ans I can’t use this thing even if I get it?”
Sister Pogranate swore inwardly.
She imdiately realized this was not sothing players could use at the Black Iron Rank.
Even a player who specialized in swordsmanship might struggle to bind it upon reaching the Silver Grade.
Needless to say, this was undoubtedly another pie drawn by the developnt team.
Hey, here’s sothing great for you, but whether you can use it depends on your own effort, roar.
“Hey!”
Regretfully placing the Cold Night blade back into the weapon box and seeing Brother Cat turning to leave, Sister Pogranate’s eyes flickered, and she stopped him, saying:
“I can’t use this thing.
It has occupational requirents, and it conflicts with the combat style I’ve chosen, so even if I keep it for now.
If you can beat three tis and bring sothing of the sa quality, I’ll give it back to you.”
“Three tis, right?”
Brother Cat turned around, eyes sparkling with light, and said:
“Alright, I’ll rember that!
Just keep it at your place for now; I’ll take it back by my own hands.”
“Hey, enough with this ‘kindred spirits’ act between you two already!”
Bull Bull, holding the weapon box, glanced left and right and saw that both these guys were about to shoot sparks from their eyes.
He sensed trouble and quickly stepped in between them.
He spread his arms as though to break their eye contact and turned his head to shout at Sister Pogranate:
“Sis, our family is conservative and traditional; we don’t condone this sort of platonic friendship thing, so don’t go stirring up any trouble, or our grandfather will cut off your legs if he finds out!”
“Shut up, if Grandpa finds out about you and your cardboard cutout wife, it’d definitely be your legs that go first.
Not to hide anything from you, the wheelchair and all – I’ve got it ready.
Just waiting for the show when we go back ho for the New Year.”
“You…
don’t sar my innocence!
Also, stop spreading rumors, let’s keep the ga inside the ga, and not drag it into reality, all right?”
