They spent half the day taking rubbings of all the inscriptions they could find, ending up with a total of seven unknown-effect inscriptions, unable to discern which one was the true secret technique that could significantly enhance a weapon.
Out of options, they opted for the “foolish thod.”
“Based on the arrangent and position of these things on the famous blade, let’s copy them as well as we can onto the weapons we’re going to make.
We know nothing about the smithing system of this world and can’t be researchers or pioneers, but we can at least be imitators,” said the Broken Sword Master through gritted teeth to his brother.
“Go to the administration and ask the Quartermaster for so ebony stones.
