A guess was just a guess. Su Chen had no way of knowing the actual situation in the dical departnt, or whether it was really Wei Yinsuo.
He stood in the shade of a nearby tree, his expression grim. He racked his brain for a solution, but in the end, he only managed to exasperate himself.
’Why am I overthinking this so much? He’s a Chief Judge who returned gravely injured, and I’m a mber of the Judicial Court. Isn’t it perfectly normal to pay him a visit?’
However, even after figuring this out, he didn’t act rashly.

Under Bu Siqi’s anxious gaze, Lei Tieyan finally relented. "You must return as soon as you’re done visiting Wei Yinsuo."

"There’s no need," the voice replied coldly. "Only a few ordinary Believers are left in Yingfeng City. If they can actually stir up so trouble, it might actually create a useful diversion for us."
Wei Yinsuo fell silent, deeply feeling that he was negotiating with a tiger. He also felt a faint sense of regret. If he had only taken Xia Hanshi’s words to heart back then, he wouldn’t have ended up gravely wounded, tortured, and threatened by the Believers of Black Tuo.

He frowned. He had just yelled at this restless nephew of his to get out and had already warned him not to disturb him without reason.
He was about to scold him again when he noticed several figures walking in behind Xue Fei.
"Teng Liang..." Wei Yinsuo’s eyelid twitched. "Bu Siqi, and Su Chen?"
"Judge Wei..." The mont Su Chen walked in, his gaze locked onto Wei Yinsuo. The man’s injuries were even more severe than he had imagined. His entire body was covered in wounds, and dark blood oozed out from ti to ti.
