Being loved and cherished by such a heaven’s prince was surely a happy life, wasn’t it?

"Frank, I saw you just now and thought you looked familiar, so I ca to say hello," Rebecca faced his cold and distant gaze, feeling distressed, but pretended nothing was wrong, "What are you doing here? Did you make plans with friends?"
She was still wearing the black long dress from the party.
Actually, she should have changed before coming here.
But suddenly she wanted to co here for a drink, and didn’t bother changing clothes anymore.
Frank Parker still didn’t say anything, simply scanning her coldly.
"I ca straight here after a party," Rebecca explained without waiting for him to ask as his gaze fell on her, "I suddenly felt like having a few drinks, so I ca. I didn’t expect to run into you here."
"If you haven’t made plans with your friends, maybe we could..."
"Sorry, I have soone waiting for ," Frank Parker finally spoke, rejecting her suggestion, "They’re waiting for , Ms. Kelloway, please excuse ."
Having said that, Frank Parker turned and left.
"Frank," Rebecca lifted her dress to catch up to him, hurt by his cold attitude, her face pale, "Do you really want to treat like a stranger? All because I... made one mistake, are you going to treat coldly for the rest of my life?"
"I know I was wrong, and I’ve apologized. Why can’t you forgive , considering our many years of friendship?"
"Ms. Kelloway, I’ve made myself very clear," Frank Parker didn’t even slow down as he walked, even speeding up, as if he didn’t notice Rebecca struggling to keep up, "I said, the next ti we et, let’s just pretend to be strangers."
"If making a mistake could be fixed with just an apology and a show of remorse, everyone in this world would be a divine lady or father. If you want to be a divine lady or father, that’s your business; I’m not interested."
Forgive Rebecca Kelloway?
He probably would never be able to do it in his lifeti.
It was because of her that he missed the person who should have accompanied him for the rest of his life.
