Chapter 2423: Chapter 2415: You don’t want Jeremy and Regina Kelloway to interact?

After dinner.
The two of them returned to the hospital.
Joanna calculated the ti, by now, Jeremy should have woken up.
Ashton led her to the door outside the hospital room.
The door of the hospital room was ajar, not completely closed. Just as Joanna was about to reach out and push it open, she heard a girl’s voice coming from inside the room.
“Jeremy, how do you feel now? Are you thirsty? Do you want to pour you so water?”
The girl’s voice was soft and tender, a lovely, youthful sound.
Joanna paused, slowly retracting the hand that was about to push the door.
Was this… Regina Kelloway’s voice?
Another voice sounded from inside the room, it was Jeremy speaking.
His voice was still sowhat weak and raspy: “I’m fine, don’t worry. Regina, when did you get here?”
“I just arrived a little while ago.”
As she had suspected, it was Regina.
Joanna’s expression changed slightly as she stood at the door for a few seconds, then looked up at her husband, Ashton, and whispered: “Jeremy’s classmate ca to visit him, let’s co back later.”
“Okay.”
Ashton nodded, wrapping his arm around her and turned to leave.

“I never expected Jeremy and Regina to still be in touch; they seem… to have a very good relationship.”
There was a small park-like area downstairs of the VIP Inpatient Departnt for patients to stroll and relax during their stay.
Joanna and Ashton were strolling along a small lake, the wind blowing over the lake surface, causing a slight tingling sensation on their faces in the winter night.
She rubbed her hands together.
The next second, a warm black scarf was tightly wrapped around her neck, winding around a few tis, covering most of her face.
Shielded from the wind by the scarf.
She felt much warr.
Ashton reached out, his warm dry hand wrapped her exposed little hands, then clasped her hand and put it into the pocket of his coat.
“Wear more clothes next ti.” He gripped her small hand, “Your hands are cold, aren’t you afraid of getting frostbite?”
Actually, Joanna wasn’t really underdressed.
Except for during her work, when she had to wear less, she usually paid great attention to keeping warm.
She was wrapped in a large quilted down coat, covering her from neck to feet, keeping her body warm.
Only her hands were exposed to the cold wind, which made them icy cold.
However, now her hands were being held by Ashton, his palm radiating warmth as though wrapping her icy little hands. Gradually, warmth seeped into the palm of her hand. Soon, she felt not cold at all.
The scarf around her neck felt warm too.
She glanced at the black scarf wrapped around her neck, looked up at him, a sweet smile in the corners of her eyes: “You gave your scarf to , aren’t you cold?”
“Do you think I’m like you?” Ashton placed his other hand on top of her head, gently rubbing it affectionately. His thin lips curved slightly, “I’m not cold.”
“Oh.” Joanna touched the scarf around her neck, and the corners of her mouth couldn’t help but reveal a sweet smile too.
“Do you have sothing you want to talk to about?” Ashton raised the previous topic, “You don’t want Jeremy to be around Regina?”
“No.” Joanna shook her head, “Jeremy can socialize with whoever he wants. As long as the person doesn’t intend to hurt him, I don’t have any objections. I’m just wondering, if one day they get together, would the Kelloway family agree?”
She thought that after Regina had transferred schools, Jeremy’s feelings for her might have gradually faded away.
