Regina Kelloway said nothing and kept silent even after Lady Patrice finished speaking.
She had guessed that Lady Patrice might have called her because of Rebecca Kelloway’s issues.
But guessing was one thing.
Hearing Lady Patrice say those words out loud was another thing altogether.
At this mont, Regina felt as if her heart had been brutally slashed.
And that slash ca from the person closest to her.
So it was particularly painful.

That little movie star Joanna Lawrence was not a good girl to begin with. If it wasn’t for her, Rebecca would have been married into the Heath family by now. If we had a marriage alliance with the Heath family, our Kelloway family would not be facing this crisis. I can understand why Rebecca is upset."
Regina listened as Lady Patrice uttered these twisted moral views, and she found herself speechless with her mouth agape.

"I didn’t." Regina closed her eyes, biting her lip, "Mom, you have a misunderstanding about Joanna. I’ve t her before. She’s really not the kind of person you describe."
"You’re still speaking up for that siren? If it weren’t for her stealing Ashton Heath away, Joanna’s position would be Rebecca’s now. You’re really making furious. Your sister told that you might be in an early relationship, and I didn’t believe her. Now it seems it’s true."

JJeremy knew about the things Rebecca had done.
After all, the evidence of Rebecca registering a fake account and hiring online trolls to bully Joanna was uncovered by him.
He also knew about the incident where Rebecca posted a clarification blog post and pushed all the bla onto Regina.
