The phone on the table rang.
Joanna Lawrence glanced down and saw a ssage from Linda on Twitter. She wiped her mouth with a napkin and picked up her phone to open the Twitter app.
Linda had sent her several ssages in a row.
Linda: The Golden Globe Awards official Blog has posted the nominees for this year, and because of this, you’ve beco a hot search topic again.
Linda: So people with ulterior motives are saying that you were nominated because you had connections.
Linda: The company has already issued a statent saying they will sue those who spread rumors. However, the topic of you securing the nomination through connections still continues. You might want to clarify this matter yourself. Of course, if you think it’s not necessary, then forget it, the company can handle it.
Linda: I just think that this nomination is very important to you. You were nominated based on your talent. If you’re really affected by these rumors and people who don’t know the truth believe that you were nominated due to connections, it won’t be good. So, I personally suggest that it’s better if you make a statent on your Blog.
Upon seeing the ssages, Joanna Lawrence was stunned.
Her first reaction was confusion.
She was trending again?
And she was being targeted by anti-fans again?
Could they let her peacefully have dinner?
Every ti she heard that she was on the hot search list, she beca apprehensive, even fearful.
Because most of the tis she trended, it wasn’t for sothing positive.
Thus, she really didn’t want to trend, and genuinely feared it.
"What happened?" Ashton Heath noticed the subtle change in Joanna’s expression as she stared at her phone, frowning, he asked, putting down his utensils.
"It’s nothing," Joanna bit her lip corner, disheartened, "Linda said I’m trending. And she suggested that I should respond with a post on my Blog."
"Oh? You’re trending again? What is it this ti?"
Having a wife with hot search attributes, Ashton’s expression remained calm upon hearing that Joanna was trending again.
As if he had gotten used to it.
"It’s about my nomination for the Golden Globe Award for Best Actress."
"Well, it doesn’t sound like a bad thing. Why are you frowning?" Ashton noticed her empty plate and couldn’t help but cut a few more pieces of steak to place on her empty dish.
Ever since Ashton got together with Joanna.
Whenever they dined together, he couldn’t help but "serve" her.
He didn’t find it troubleso.
On the contrary, he enjoyed the feeling.
He enjoyed having soone he was willing to "serve."
Especially when he saw her eating the food he fed her, he felt a sense of satisfaction.
If he could make her gain so weight, he would feel even more accomplished.
"It’s because I’m the only newcor nominated, and I only have one representative work. So, there’s a group of people on the Blog saying that I got the nomination because of connections, hmm, connections with the Heath and White families."
After Joanna finished speaking, Ashton understood.
He narrowed his eyes and pondered for a mont, then said solemnly, "Your developnt has been going too smoothly, and your situation is too good. It may have affected the developnt of so of your competitors. Or perhaps because of your nomination, an artist who had high hopes of getting nominated lost their eligibility."
