"So, our opponents fabricated a rumor that your nomination relied on connections. It’s easy to figure out the truth about this matter; we’ll have soone investigate it properly. You shouldn’t respond hastily, I’ll have Cody Aberton look into it right away."
Having said that, Ashton Heath picked up his phone and called Cody Aberton.
Cody answered the call right away.
Ashton didn’t waste any ti and said directly: "Go and investigate the matter of Ms. Joanna being on the hot search today. Figure out if it was a planned act by soone or if it happened naturally. You’ve got ten minutes. Reply to ASAP."
Ashton gave his instructions and hung up the phone.
He placed his phone on the table and turned to Joanna Lawrence with a reassuring look: "Don’t worry, Cody has already gone to investigate. We’ll soon get to the bottom of this. Once he finds out, you can think about how to respond."
"Alright, I’m not anxious." Joanna nodded, her expression calm, not appearing worried at all, "Even if soone really thinks I got nominated because I have connections, it doesn’t matter."
"So, you don’t mind?" Ashton looked a bit surprised.
"It’s not that I don’t mind; it’s just that I can’t control what others think." Joanna blinked, her thoughts clear, "If so people truly believe I got in through connections, there’s no use in trying to prove them wrong."
"I did think that sothing like this might happen."
"You thought about it too?"
"Yes, I am the only newcor among all the nominees, and also the only one nominated based on a single work. It’s understandable that so would question if my nomination was secured using the influence of the Heath and White families. Sotis, being vilified isn’t necessarily a bad thing. Eventually, I’ll prove myself with my talent, and there will co a day when I’m truly recognized by others. I believe it!"
"I believe it too." Ashton saw that she genuinely didn’t mind and wasn’t affected by it, and he felt reassured, "However, this matter still needs to be thoroughly investigated. If soone is purposely spreading rumors behind your back, we must expose them."

"What were you thinking? How could you offend her at a ti like this? If she finds out that you’re behind all this, how would you continue in the entertainnt industry? Aren’t you afraid of being blocked?"
"Look at what happened to Ms. Rebecca from the Kelloway family after provoking her. Do you know there are rumors that her car accident wasn’t purely an accident? Do you know what that ans?"
"Aren’t you afraid you’ll beco the next Ms. Rebecca from the Kelloway family?"
"Elsa, it’s not like I single-handedly put Joanna Lawrence on the hot search list. There were already people questioning the matter, and I simply added fuel to the fire. How is that the sa as offending her?"
In a high-end apartnt, a woman in a red robe lazily lay on the sofa, holding a glass of red wine, speaking languidly.
As for her agent’s words, she clearly wasn’t taking them seriously.
"Sophie!"
"Alright, alright, Elsa." Sophie drew out her words in a lazy tone, sat up a bit, swirled the red wine in her glass, and sipped it, still speaking lazily, "Don’t worry, nothing will happen."
"The Online Trolls Company I hired is run by my friend, who’s very cautious and won’t let anything trace back to us. Besides, this isn’t that important; where is the seriousness that you’re talking about? If I don’t do anything and just swallow this resentnt, I really can’t stand it."
