When they arrived in Novabalia, it was past nine o’clock in the evening.
The plane was slowly taxiing on the runway, and Joanna turned on her phone and made a call to Ashton Heath.
The call was answered after just one ring.
"Baby, I’ve been waiting for your call." A deep, magnetic voice ca through the phone, and the man on the other end sounded incredibly gentle, "How’s the weather there? Is it cold at night?"
"I haven’t gotten off the plane yet." Joanna glanced out of the cabin, as the plane was still taxiing. A sweet and gentle announcent from a flight attendant ca over the PA, reminding everyone to gather their belongings and prepare to disembark.
"But I’ve taken my coat out, and I’ll put it on in a mont. Where are you now, have you gone ho after work? Did you have to work overti today?"
"I just finished talking to a client, and now I’m heading ho." Ashton Heath said honestly, "I worked two hours overti today, but I made sure to have my als on ti. After I get back, I’ll take a shower and then go to sleep."
The ti in Closia was very close to that in Novabalia.
Joanna checked the ti on her phone and was surprised, "Are you going to bed so early?"
A sexy chuckle ca through the phone, and the man’s voice was gentle and indulgent, "I promised you I wouldn’t stay up late, so of course, I need to go to bed early."
Joanna couldn’t help but smile, "You’re so obedient?"
"Yes, I’ve always been obedient to my wife." The man, usually cold and unapproachable, seed like a child waiting to be praised in front of his wife, miles away from his daily deanor.
It would be shocking to outsiders if they saw this contrast.
Listening to his baby-like tone, Joanna’s smile widened, "So you’re such a good boy, Mr. Heath. Should I praise you a few tis? Tell , how do you want to praise you?"
On the phone, the man chuckled low, "Mr. Heath doesn’t need any praise. He just wants to hold young lady of the Heath family and kiss her."
"Well, it seems I won’t be able to satisfy you." Joanna pretended to sigh helplessly, "Your wife doesn’t have the ability to duplicate herself, so you’ll have to wait a bit longer, Mr. Ashton."
The plane finally ca to a stop.
The passengers around her were already getting their luggage, ready to disembark.
Joanna prepared to end the call, "Ashton, I won’t talk to you for now, I need to get off the plane. Wait for to settle down at the hotel, and I’ll call you."
"Alright, be careful on your way there. Let know when you arrive at the hotel." Ashton was also getting into a car on his end, and Joanna heard the "click" of the car door closing. After a few seconds, he softly reminded her, "When you get to the hotel, if you’re hungry, eat sothing before going to sleep; don’t sleep on an empty stomach, okay?"
"Okay."

At the hotel, Joanna and Linda stayed in separate rooms. After saying goodnight to each other, Joanna had a hotel staff mber help her carry her luggage into her room.
By the ti she had finished settling her belongings, took a shower, and laid down in bed, Joanna was so tired that she didn’t even want to move a finger.
